"What the fuck.." Kianna mumbled to herself as her eyes were set on the picture. A photo of Paige smiling down at the smaller girl holding her waist , the next picture was the two kissing on the mouth definitely not a friend.
"What happened?" Valerie asked while putting her crocs on, Kianna turned off her phone putting it in her back pocket. "Nothing" Kianna lied, "Just my mama back on BS about the graduation party, then the wedding" lies lies and more lies. Lies on top of lies.
"Please tell me she's making gumbo"
"Really Val"
"That lady can cook so yes really" Valerie pushed her clothes off the bed letting them fall into the suitcase, she jumped on the bed lying down on her back. "But are you sure that's the only thing bothering you?" She questioned looking at her best-friend, they were friends long enough to know the signs of them being upset.
Kianna felt bad that she wasn't telling them about her relationship, "yeah I'm sure" even though she was wanted to tell val she wasn't sure how she was able to say the girl I been hooking up with for months turned into my girlfriend and now someone took a picture that's all over the internet.
It wasn't easy- {authors note: it was in fact just that easy}
On the other hand this was not how Kianna and Paige would want to tell the public they were together, even though they would love to tell the whole world that they are a couple, the con of Paige being a hot star basketball player is having little fan girls down her back which isn't fun..at all.
Remembering that night like a clear moon, it was the night of graduation. Paige couldn't sleep and with Kianna being a night owl the two took a night walk sharing their thoughts that was keeping them up.
────── Flashback!The night before
"So what's bothering you?" Kianna broke the silence as the two felt the cold air hit every part of their body. "What makes you think something is bothering me?" Paige questioned, holding Kianna's soft hand that was brushing against her hand for the past five minutes.
"Usually when you can't sleep you're up thinking about it or you just wanted to feel my presence, so you dragged me out of bed" Kianna responded making Paige chuckle she loved bringing her girlfriend everywhere with her even if it was the simplest places. "Okay so maybe I'm thinking about something" Paige told her, was she really about to ask her this after being a couple for a month..what happens if she says no.
