3rd Person POV:

To say Ayanokoji is semi-popular is an underestimate.

Due to the screening, Ayanokoji's "boring" existence has been revolutionized.

To give you a fast recap, students from every year have come to Auditorium to watch an Alternate Timeline, The Checkmate Timeline hosted by Chess-Themed Man.

Through this screening, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka's Alternate self, Checkmate Kiyotaka has taken the stage as the protagonist of his story.

Inadvertently, the student name Ayanokoji Kiyotaka's existence is now known throughout Advance Nurturing High School.

So to say Ayanokoji is "Semi-popular" is a lie.

Think of him now as a semi-celebrity.

Speaking of Ayanokoji, he's currently lying on his bed in his dorm room, 401. Ayanokoji had a quite exhausting today, and many more lie ahead in the future, unfortunately.

But what exactly happened? I'll give you a rundown.

Ayanokoji and his class return safely to their homeroom. As they all sat down in their respective seats, a large discussion emerged the second everyone settled down.

Some were excited about watching an Alternate Timeline, others were perplexed about how an invention of peering into timeline (or world) is possible to happen.

At the same time, others began discussing the contents of the two chapters they watched, Opening Move and Second Player.

Many were surprised they could hear Checkmate Kiyotaka's mind. They at first assume the screening would be shown in a third-person perspective.

Curious folks such as Matsushita were wondering what exactly were the deviations shown in the beginning of the bus scene. Kushida and sometimes Ayanokoji explain the slight deviations.

Kushida perfectly ignored the suspicion Checkmate Kouenji and Checkmate Kiyotaka put upon her.

Due to the remembrance of that scene, anger sprung up again about Kouenji and Checkmate's self purposely sitting on the priority seat. Before vindication emerged onto Kouenji, Hirata and Kushida pleaded for their classmates to let go of that scene as in both timelines, the conflict had already been resolved.

On the other hand, people began discussing Checkmate Kiyotaka. His keen observation and smarts were a surprise to others. His ability to recognize a brewing competition and class system distribution were unbelievable to the Ayanokoji Kiyotaka they know in their timeline.

People like Karuizawa instantly assume that Checkmate Kiyotaka is a smarter, more capable student than their Ayanokoji. Despite their monotone voice and unnerving awkwardness. Others like Yukimura and Matsushita were suspicious. Even when they got definitive answers from Ayanokoji himself, there's a lingering feeling he wasn't exactly telling the whole truth.

Horikita, as usual, glanced at Ayanokoji with her common mean demeanor.

A few questions sprung up upon Checkmate Kiyotaka and Ayanokoji. In response, Ayanokoji calmly answers those questions and dismisses suspicion towards him.

However, a rather more notable discussion sprung, The White Room.

The White Room, a place ordinary people would have no clue what it is. This White Room pertains to Checkmate Kiyotaka's life as he thought about it on multiple occasions in those two chapters. At first hearing of this White Room, many tried to search it up, unfortunately there was no information of this White Room.
