A/N

This chapter has some kinda cheesy things, so feel free to skip it! It's just the Inazuma part of the tour and will not mess up the plot if it's skipped. If you do read it, I hope you enjoy it. Also, I will be posting the next chapter in the morning since I haven't this in a while.

Soon the walk to Liyue Harbor was over and you were boarding the Crux. You smiled at the scent of the sea and the steady feel of wooden boards under your feet. Beidou walked over to you to invite you to have drinks with her as the sun set. Instead of drinking you ended up listening to Kazuha's poems.

By the time the moon rose high in the sky, the Crux had just bumped the dock in Inazuma. Deciding that Thoma would come back in the morning to pick you and Aether up, you wandered through a small market place to buy snacks and then found a small inn to stay in for the night.

In the morning, you and Aether found Thoma and left Ritou (I know you're supposed to get some sort of pass but I'm not including that sorry) When you got to the Kamisato House, Thoma asked you and Aether to wait for him to fetch Ayato and Ayaka. Ayaka was the first to arrive and she had come with food. She was friendly towards you and Aether and you had a good time while waiting for her brother. When Ayato arrived, a weird look came across his face when he saw you. You were the only one in the room to not notice. Ayato immediately offered to let you and Aether stay for as long as needed. You thought this weird but you brushed it off as a kind gesture. The room you were given was close to Ayato's just in case "you needed help with anything". Over the days you and Ayato went on many walks through Chinju Forest or Inazuma City. If you found anything of interest it would appear in your room if you had not bought it with your own funds. This small act of kindness turned into what you thought was an obsession. He would always ask where you were going and seemed to dislike when you hung out with Aether.

One of the nights you were wandering one of the hallway path things in one of the gardens when there was a hot breath on your neck and you were pushed against a wall. Your eyes widened in surprise when you saw it wasn't Ayato but Xiao.

"What- what are you doing here?"

"You must leave here and return to Wangshuu Inn." Xiao demanded.

"Why? And since when did you care where I stay?"

"Since you started staying here." As he leaned over you (yes I know he's short but just this once deal with it), there was something in his eyes. Insanity, maybe?

"Fineee. BUT you owe me."

He shook his head but didn't say another word. You blinked and he was gone.

"Y/n?" A voice called from behind you.

"I thought I heard an unfamiliar voice talking to you. Is there anything you'd like to tell me?"

"Err... no. Oh! Actually, I've decided I'm going back to Liyue tomorrow."

Ayato's face dropped slightly but he nodded. He walked away without another word.
