MYSTIC GRILL
Caine walks into the Grill and looks around, she smiles seeing Elena sitting at one of the tables. She approaches her and sits down beside her
Caine: What are you doing, darling?
Elena: I've been going through Stefan's old journals. Every single time that he's gone off the rails in the past, his best friend Lexi's been the one to bring him back.
Caine: Ah, you want to help the Ripper? This Lexi is on the Other Side
Elena: Is that what it's called
Caine: Yes.
Elena: So what is it, like some sort of supernatural purgatory
Caine: You cannot be seen or heard. You cannot interact with anyone. Rather lonely, I may add
She reaches her hand up brushing a lock of her hair out of her face, Elena blushes a light shade of pink
Caine: Now how are you doing, darling?
Elena: I'm fine. How are you?
Caine: Much better since I laid eyes on you today.
Elena smiles as she tucks her hair behind her ears. Stefan walks up and sits down across from them
Caine narrows her eyes and glares at him
Stefan: Hey, guys. Who forgot to invite me to the family summit?
He sees the journals and takes one and looks through it.
Stefan: Hmm? Wow. All these words. I forgot how much I used to care.
Elena: I didn't.
Stefan: You know, Elena, it's probably best you not torture yourself with memories from the past. It's best we both just move on and accept things as they are.
Caine: Walk away now or I make you
Stefan: You know what, Caine, you're right. I don't. But Elena's here, and I look out for Elena. Besides, there's going to be people everywhere tonight. So there's going to be lots to eat.
Caine grabs a fork and drive it through his hand, Stefan grunts in pain
Caine: She's under my protection from now on. Go anywhere near her and I will make your life a living hell
Elena looks at her in awe and a fond smile across her face while Stefan narrows his eyes glaring at the First Murderer.
BATHROOM
Jeremy and Anna has their lips locked together in a passionate kiss
Oh my, this is something to see. Something indeed
Jeremy and Anna pulls apart and turns seeing God standing at the door
Jeremy Who are you? Get out
God: You are truly pathetic, Jeremy Gilbert. You have a great girl in Bonnie and here you are, locking lips with a dead vampire
Jeremy: I can't help how I feel! I love Anna. I've always loved her
God holds his hand up and Anna's eyes widens in shock seeing the necklace
Anna: Jeremy, he's got the necklace
Jeremy: Give it back!
God: Enjoy the Other Side alone, Anna
He snaps his fingers and Anna screams loudly as she goes up in white smoke
Jeremy: NO!!!!
He falls down to his knees, tears streaming down his face. God grips his chin making him look up at him
God: Continue angering me and I will show you how wrathful I can be. Do give Stefan Salvatore the same warning I have given you.
He leaves the bathroom and makes his way through the Grill and stands beside Damon and Alaric at the bar
They look at him confused
Damon: Uh, who are you?
God: I am God, Damon
Damon: Yeah right
Alaric: Dude, you do know we got Caine herself walking around, right?
Damon: What do you want?
God: Simple. Get your brother under control or I will personally show him how wrathful I can be.
OUTSIDE
Caine leads Elena down the street and opens the passenger door, extending her hand out
Caine: Ladies first
Elena: Such a gentlelady
She pecks her on the cheek and gets in the car. Caine walks around the car and climbs in the driver's seat.
