Caine is leaning against the doorway

Klaus: I'm surprised you're still in town. I gave you your freedom, you could have gone anywhere.

Caine: I live here

Klaus: If we're playing that game, I was here first

Caine: Must you forget I am older then you, cunt? I don't like your hybrid flees. I want them gone

Klaus: Yeah, well I kind of like having them around. You know, I'm hurt. I hoped that when I freed Stefan, we'd pick up where we left off. And here you are, guzzling vervain like the rest of them, I'm sure. So much for friendship.

Caine: How stupid are you? You couldn't compel me if you tried but-----

She holds her arms outward and smirks

Caine: Go ahead. Give it a try.

Klaus tilts his head downward and growls

Caine: Remove your hybrids or I will do it myself and my way is much more bloodier.

Klaus: Hmm. You see, if you continue to threaten me, I'm gonna be forced to retaliate. Kill people. And it will get messy again.

Caine: Is that supposed to frighten me? What do I care who you kill? Only person I care about is my darling.

Mindy walks in.

Mindy: Is everything okay?

Klaus: Everything is fine, Mindy. Caine was just leaving after failing to make his point.

Caine waits a moment, grabs a saw from the work table she's next to, rushes over to Mindy and cuts her head clean off with it.

Caine: Well, one down. You may want to, ah, send the rest of them away before it gets messy, again.

CAINE'S MANSION

Caine opens the door and walks into the mansion while talking on the phone

Caine: Today is Caroline's birthday, Love so use this day to have yourselves fun. Now is there anything you need me to grab?

Elena: We ordered a birthday cake but it's not---

Caine Say no more, darling. I'll handle it and it will be ready by the end of the school day. Anything else?

Elena: Do you feel like bringing some alcohol........darling?

Caine(smirks): I can do that. I shall text you when everything is done. Call me when you're done celebrating and I'll pick you up. What time do you think that will be?

Elena: Umm......around 10:30 or 11. Thanks for this, Caine.

Caine: Do not mention it, darling. I always take care of you. I'll leave you be. Call me when you are done and I shall pick you up.

Elena: Thanks.

NIGHT-FOUNDER'S HALL

Carol and Caine are talking, drinking champagne.

Caine: I mean you are just delightful! What color are your eyes?

Carol: They are blue.

Caine: Oh yes, they are.

Klaus walks up to them

Klaus: Look at you, Caine. Nice vest

Caine: Why thank you. Carol and I were discussing about whether you would be the other big benefactor.

Carol: What do you say, Klaus? Caine has made a very generous pledge. You know how we're chomping at the bit to begin the renovation.

Klaus: No offense, love but do you know who you are talking to? She's really infamous in the Christian Bible.
