**Flashback**
The Goenka household was buzzing with preparations for a grand celebration of the family's latest business success. Kartik and Naira were deeply involved in the arrangements, coordinating every detail to ensure perfection.
"Kartik, ye decorations theek lag rahe hain?" Naira asked, glancing at the floral arrangements.
"Haan, Naira, bilkul perfect," Kartik replied, giving her a reassuring smile.
Manish Goenka, Kartik's father, walked in looking concerned. "Kartik, mujhe tumse aur Naira se kuch zaruri baat karni hai," he said, signaling them to follow him to the study.
Once inside the study, Manish closed the door behind them. "Beta, kuch din pehle mujhe ek business proposal mila tha. Initially, it seemed like a good opportunity, but ab mujhe doubt ho raha hai. I need your and Naira's opinion on this," he explained, handing over some documents.
Kartik and Naira carefully reviewed the documents. Naira's keen business acumen quickly spotted some discrepancies.
"Papa, yeh proposal thoda risky lag raha hai. Humein aur investigation karni chahiye," Naira advised.
"I agree, Naira. We can't jump into this without proper due diligence," Kartik added.
Manish nodded, appreciating their input. "Thik hai, tum dono ispar kaam karo. Aur mujhe update dete rehna," he instructed.
"Don't worry, Papa. Hum sab handle kar lenge," Kartik assured him.
As they left the study, they bumped into Surekha and Akhilesh, who were clearly unhappy about something. Surekha didn't waste time before she voiced her frustration. "Kartik, Naira, tum dono ne phir se humein discuss kiye bina decision le liya?"
"Surekha bhabhi, humne bas Papa ko advice diya hai. Final decision to sab milke lenge," Naira tried to explain.
"Kartik, Naira, har baar aisa hi hota hai. Hamesha tum dono ki hi baat mani jaati hai," Akhilesh added, his tone filled with resentment.
This was not the first time Kartik and Naira had faced such allegations. The Goenka family had seen increasing tension over the past few months. Akhilesh and Surekha felt sidelined, believing that Manish favored Kartik and Naira over them.
To make matters worse, Naira had recently started working on a design project with Mr. Kapoor, a prominent businessman. His girlfriend, Priya, had a history of being overly possessive and often created misunderstandings. Her frequent visits and inappropriate comments had fueled the gossip mill in the Goenka household.
One evening, things reached a boiling point. The entire family had gathered in the living room to discuss another business proposal. As usual, tensions were high.
"Kartik, Naira, tum dono ne phir se apna decision le liya bina humein bataye?" Akhilesh accused, his voice raised.
"Akhilesh chachu, humne bas proposal ko analyze kiya tha. Aap sabke sath discuss karne wale the," Kartik replied, trying to stay calm.
"Lekin har baar tumhare analysis ke baad humari baat ki kya value reh jaati hai?" Surekha retorted.
"Ye sab chhodo, mujhe ye batao ki Naira ka Mr. Kapoor ke sath kya chal raha hai?" Surekha suddenly accused, making everyone gasp.
"Naira aur Kapoor? Tumhara matlab kya hai?" Kartik asked, his voice trembling with anger and disbelief.
"Haan, uski girlfriend Priya ne khud mujhe bataya ki Kapoor aur Naira kaafi close hain. Har roz milna, projects ke bahane alag time spend karna, yeh sab kya hai?" Surekha continued, ignoring the shocked expressions of the family.
"Kartik, please trust me. Aisa kuch nahi hai. Priya sirf misunderstandings create kar rahi hai," Naira pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Bas! Ab aur nahi," Manish interrupted, his patience finally snapping. "Agar tum dono ko lagta hai ki Kartik aur Naira galat hain, to aaj se yeh dono is ghar se alag ho jayenge."
Everyone was stunned into silence. Kartik and Naira looked at each other, shocked by Manish's declaration.
"Papa, aap kya keh rahe hain?" Kartik asked, his voice trembling.
"Haan Manishji, yeh kya keh rahe hain aap?" Suvarna added, equally shocked.
"Main keh raha hoon ki agar Akhilesh aur Surekha ko lagta hai ki Kartik aur Naira is family ke liye theek nahi hain, to inhe alag ho jana chahiye. Main aur Suvarna bhi unke sath chalenge," Manish said firmly.
"Papa, please, aap aise gusse mein faisla mat lijiye," Naira pleaded, tears in her eyes.
But Manish's mind was made up. "Nahi Naira, yeh faisla zaruri hai. Hum itne divided nahi reh sakte."
Kartik and Naira, heartbroken but determined, packed their essentials. Kairav, sensing the tension, clung to his mother.
"Kya ho raha hai, mumma?" Kairav asked, confused and scared.
"Kuch nahi beta, hum bas thoda door ja rahe hain. Sab theek ho jayega," Naira reassured him, holding back her tears.
That night, Kartik and Naira left the Goenka mansion, their hearts heavy with sorrow and uncertainty about the future.

**Present Day**
Back in their cozy home, Naira lay next to Kartik, who was lost in thought.
"Kya soch rahe ho?" Naira asked, gently breaking his reverie.
"Woh flashback yaad aaya jab hum Goenka mansion se alag hue the," Kartik said, his voice tinged with sadness.
"Haan, woh waqt kitna mushkil tha," Naira agreed, her eyes reflecting the pain of those memories.
"Lekin Naira, us waqt ne humein aur bhi strong bana diya. Humne milke apni life ko phir se build kiya," Kartik said, his tone turning resolute.
"Haan, Kartik. Humne milke sab kuch face kiya. Aur aaj humari family kitni khush hai," Naira replied, her heart swelling with love for the journey they had taken together.
"Main tumhare bina kuch nahi kar sakta," Kartik said, pulling her closer.
"Main bhi, Kartik. We're stronger together," Naira echoed, hugging him tightly.
As they lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, they felt a deep sense of gratitude for their bond and the beautiful family they had built together.
