𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝗁𝗎𝗌𝗄𝗂𝖾𝗌 𝖻𝖺𝗋， 𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗋𝗌 𝗃𝗎𝗇𝖾 𝟤𝟥， 𝟤𝟢𝟤𝟦
𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐋𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒, the night came to an end. paige and gabriella were leaving the bar, angelica and the rest of the girls following behind. angelica walked up to paige and gabriella as the two were standing away from the group. "gab, i'm gonna go with morgan to her dorm for the night. do you want me to drop you off first?"
gabriella thought about it, going to answer before paige cut her off. "i can take her home, it's no problem."
"great, thank you paige." angelica said, giving gabriella a hug and walking away, not before telling her to text her when she gets home.
gabriella turns to paige. "you don't have to take me, i can walk. my apartment is pretty far from here and the dorms."
"gab, it's no problem. really. i'm not letting you walk alone this late, especially when you've had something to drink." paige says, beginning to walk to her car.
gabriella sighs, accepting her fate. she followed behind paige to her car, getting into the passenger seat. paige hands gabriella her phone to put in her address.
gabriella quickly types in her apartment and hands paige her phone back, hands just barely brushing against each other.
the drive to gabriella's apartment was much shorter than both girls would have liked. they were now sitting in paige's car, not wanting the night to end.
"thanks for the ride paige." gab says softly, too scared to talk loud.
paige turns her head, looking gabriella in her eyes. "of course."
"i'll see you." gabriella's words coming out almost as a question, not knowing when she'll see her again.
paige smiles at the girl, not pulling her eyes away from her. "i'll see you gab, goodnight."
"goodnight."
gabriella steps out of the car, entering her building. she turns around one last time and sees paige still sitting there, waiting for her to get inside. she smiles before turning around and walking inside fully.
𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝗃𝗎𝗇𝖾𝟤𝟦，𝟤𝟢𝟤𝟦
gabriella woke up to her alarm. she had softball workouts today and had to be there at 8:30. the time now was 7:45. angelica would be driving her so she could take her time getting ready.
after changing into a pair of shorts and a compression shirt she puts her long hair into a ponytail and puts on her sneakers.
"ange! i'm ready." gab yells from her room, grabbing her bag.
"coming!"
the two girls make their way to angelica's car, beginning the drive to the softball teams workout building. they arrive quickly, gabriella getting out of the car and thanking angelica for the ride.
gabriella walks inside, seeing only a few of her teammates here before her. she sets down her bag by her cubby and makes her way to her trainer to get stretched.
"hi lana, how are you." gab smiles, laying down on the table.
lana, the teams trainer smiles, getting started on isa. "i'm great gabby, how are you?"
gabriella watches her every move. "good, my roommate dragged me to a party last night so i'm pretty tired."
lana laughs. "you didn't have fun i assume."
"no it's not that, i just, i don't know. the night didn't go how i expected i guess." gabriella says.
the two continue catching up before its time for gabriella to head to the weight room. she thanks lana quickly, hopping off the table and making her way to the rest of her teammates.
