~no one's povY/n sat at the table with Mina, Momo, Jiro, and Toru, trying to shake off the lingering fear from the incident. The girls were doing their best to keep her distracted, sharing funny stories and making jokes.
"Remember that time Kirishima tried to cook and nearly set the kitchen on fire?" Mina said with a laugh, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Jiro grinned. "Yeah, and Bakugou had to step in and save the day. I swear, Kirishima was more scared of Bakugou than the flames."
Momo smiled, nodding in agreement. "It’s always an adventure with those two."
Y/n couldn't help but laugh at their stories, feeling a bit more at ease thanks to her friends' efforts. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate you all being here."
"Of course," Toru said, her invisible presence still a comforting mystery. "We're friends. We look out for each other."
Just as Y/n was starting to relax, the doors to the restaurant burst open. Bakugou rushed in, still in his hero costume, his eyes scanning the room with an intense focus. When he spotted Y/n, he hurried over, his worry palpable.
Y/n stood up as Bakugou approached, her heart pounding. He reached her in an instant, his hands gently but firmly gripping her shoulders as he looked her over for any sign of injury.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice tight with concern. "Did that bastard hurt you?"
Y/n shook her head, touched by his worry. "No, he didn't hurt me. I'm fine, Bakugou."
Bakugou’s eyes softened slightly, relief washing over his features, but he continued his inspection, making sure there were no hidden injuries.
As he did, Y/n felt a warmth spread through her chest. She had never experienced this kind of genuine concern from anyone before. People in her life had always used her for their own gain, only to leave when she was no longer useful. But Bakugou had been different from the start—protecting her, supporting her, and never once thinking of leaving her side.
When their eyes met, Bakugou blushed, a rare vulnerability showing through his tough exterior. Y/n smiled softly at him, her eyes filled with gratitude and something more—a budding affection she hadn’t fully realized until now. Bakugou quickly averted his gaze, trying to hide his embarrassment, and grabbed her hand.
"Come on," he said, his tone gruff but gentle. "We’re getting out of here."
As they walked toward the door, Y/n noticed Bakugou’s blush and couldn't help but giggle softly. Bakugou glanced at her, a bit puzzled but didn't comment, just tightened his grip on her hand.
Before they left, Bakugou turned to Mina, Momo, Jiro, and Toru. "Thanks for looking out for her," he said, his voice sincere despite its usual edge.
"Anytime, Bakugou," Mina replied with a wink. "Take care of her."
"Yeah, keep her safe," Jiro added, giving him a thumbs-up.
"We’ll see you both soon," Momo said with a warm smile.
"Bye, Bakugou!" Toru called out, her voice filled with playful cheer.
Bakugou just grunted, muttering, "Bye, extras," under his breath as he led Y/n out of the restaurant. The girls giggled in response, their laughter lightening the mood further.
As they stepped outside, Y/n felt a mixture of emotions—relief, gratitude, and something deeper she couldn’t quite name. She glanced at Bakugou, who was still holding her hand tightly, and felt a sense of security she hadn’t known she needed.
Bakugou led Y/n to his car and opened the door for her, his usual tough demeanor softened by his concern for her. She climbed in, feeling a mix of curiosity and gratitude. Bakugou got into the driver's seat and started the car.
"Where are we going?" Y/n asked, looking at him with a curious tilt of her head.
Bakugou smirked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "You'll see," he said cryptically, making Y/n pout.
"Come on, tell me," she insisted, trying to coax more information out of him.
"Just sit tight," he replied, keeping his eyes on the road.
The drive was peaceful, the city lights beginning to flicker on as the sun dipped lower in the sky. After a while, the car came to a halt. Bakugou turned off the engine and got out, walking around to open Y/n's door for her. She stepped out, her curiosity piqued even more.
Bakugou grabbed her hand, his grip warm and reassuring, and led her towards a bridge. As they reached the railing, Y/n gasped in awe at the breathtaking view before her. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow across the water and painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple. The scene was serene and beautiful, a perfect escape from the chaos of the day.
Y/n turned to Bakugou, her eyes wide with wonder. "Bakugou, this is amazing. Thank you."
He looked at her, his expression softening as he saw the joy on her face. " Katsuki," he said quietly.
Y/n blinked in surprise. "Katsuki?"
He nodded, his gaze steady. "Yeah, I want you to call me Katsuki."
A smile spread across Y/n's face. "Okay, Katsuki. Thank you for bringing me here. It's beautiful."
Bakugou, or rather Katsuki, smiled, a rare and genuine expression. "I thought you could use a distraction," he admitted. "Something to take your mind off things."
Y/n felt a warmth spread through her chest at his words. She squeezed his hand gently, appreciating the effort he had made to bring her here, to show her that she wasn't alone. "Thank you, Katsuki. For everything."
He nodded, his eyes fixed on the horizon. "Anytime."
As they stood there, watching the sun set and the sky slowly darken, Y/n felt a sense of peace settle over her.
