I hear sirens. I try to open my eyes, but I can't. I can't move, I can't talk. All I can do is hear.
I feel like I'm being carried. Maybe, I'm being loaded into and ambulance. I don't what's happening. I'm scared.

"She's been like this for a week." I hear someone cry. Wait. I recognize that voice. Mel... It's Mel?
I force my eyes open to look ay her. "Mel?" I ask. She gasps and looks at me. Our parents are next to her.
She hugs me so tight, I almost can't breath. Then it comes back to me.
"Dakota. Where's Dakota?" I ask, worried. Mel shushes me.
"He's fine. He's at the barn." Mel says. I'm so tired. I lay my head down and fall to sleep. I must've really worried Mel.
I've never seen her this worried. The only time I've ever seen people that worried was when...
I first started horse back riding. Mom was so afraid that I would get hurt. She had an accident with horses when she was younger.
