It hurts.
My body felt sore and stiff, like I couldn't move an inch. I could hear someone groaning nearby.
'Who is in my room late at night?' I wondered. 'Maybe it's my older brothers? But... why is the bed I'm laying so cold?'
I groaned as a sharp pain shot through my body like a bolt of lightning. "Ouch..." I muttered as I rubbed my weary eyes and looked around.
That was when I realized that I wasn't in my bed after all, instead lying on the cold cemented floor.
"What the hell?!" a girl's voice exclaimed behind me. When I turned to look, I saw her equally bewildered expression as me.
"Who... Who are you?!" she shouted, her voice becoming scared and more grating to my ears. She had bright blue hair and fiery red eyes.
"What's going on?" I mumbled to myself, confused and alarmed. Suddenly, a guy's voice rang out from in front of us.
"What the hell?" We all turned to see a pink-haired guy looking at us with the same puzzled look.
The first girl's voice grew increasingly frantic "Who are you people?!" she repeated, her voice quivering. "And why am I here with you guys?!"
I stood up, still trying to comprehend who these people were. "I don't know... I don't either know you guys" I responded, trying to sound calm but was nervous about my surroundings.
The room was small and contained only a few things to see – a type writer, a drain, a light, and a vent. Besides the two kids before me, the other two boys were still asleep and unconscious.
The blonde-haired boy mumbled groggily, "Keep it down. I'm trying to sleep here."
The brownish-red-haired guy stirred and began to feel awake and was about to speak, only to be interrupted by the blonde guy who woke up next. "Why- where.."
"Hey!" he exclaimed, looking petrified. "Who are you guys? Where am I?" He took an off-balance stance and raised his fists, trying to look intimidating.
The girl rolled her eyes at the scene unfolding before her.
"Those are the top two questions," I replied cheerfully, attempting to calm everyone down.
