I slowly came to consciousness once more, my ears catching the sound of raucous and rough laughter outside. I opened my eyes and noticed that we were all bound together, Vince, Yusof, Aurora, and Lev tied next to me.
Hearing Yusof gasp, I turned to him, speaking quietly to avoid waking the others. "Yusof, are you awake?"
"Mhm.... .. huh..? O-oh yeah , I'm fine.. let's wake the others up," Yusof suggested, and I nodded my agreement. We slowly roused the rest of the group with silent nudges and hushed whispers.
