"So, Katleho..."- Malcolm started, "How long has she been Liv's friend?"
They were in Mpumi's car heading to school.
"Speaking of Kat I hope I have her book with me."- Ethan said. "I don't know man they have been friends for while now, 10 years maybe."- he guessed.
Malcolm smiled, Ethan's answer meant he was less likely to be interested in Katleho. "Kat?"- he asked.
Ethan turned to look at him from the front seat, Malcolm was sitting in the back seat.
"That's what we call her."- he said smoothly.
"And what have you ever tried to get with her?"- Malcolm asked, wanting to be frank.
Ethan frowned, "No! Kat is more like my sister. Yeah, she's like Olivia but she's better cause she's helpful, less annoying..."- his voice died in Malcolm's head. He suddenly imagined Katleho wearing that black one piece with a pair of skyscraper heals in his bedroom. The contrast between her dark skin and his white bedding made him shiver. It would like eating chocolate. He licked his lips in anticipation.
"Ethan!"- Ethan's voice broke through his fantasy. Malcolm looked at Ethan was staring at him waiting for his answer, he assumed. "What?"- he asked.
Ethan looked at him for a moment as if reading and he shook his head violently, "No! No Malcom, no, no and no!"
"What is it?"- Mpumi's asked keeping his eyes on the road. "What Mal do Ethan?"
Ethan looked at Malcom his eyes dark now, "Malcolm has his sites set on Kat and that is not going to happen!" - he stated, his tone indicating that his statement was final.
"Why not?"- Mpumi's asked. And that's exactly what Malcolm wanted to know. "Why can't he have her?"
"Yes Ethan, why can't I have her?"- Malcolm drawled mockingly.
"She's like my little sister Malcolm so hands off!"-he said roughly.
"Exactly! She like your sister but she's not. And rule says only blood relatives are off limits."- Malcolm told him. He dropped like a bomb on him.
"That's true!"- Mpumi supported.
Ethan was angry Malcolm could see that and it stunk him a bit but not enough to stop him going after his latest conquest. It made him angry that he was like this. She presented a challenge that he was only happy to take. There was a certain innocence to her that intrigued him but he knew some vixen was hidden underneath that "wouldn't-melt-butter" look of hers.
"Malcolm don't do this!"- Ethan warned. "She isn't like other girls. She innocent and naive."
"The looks she gives me aren't innocent."- Malcolm countered.
Ethan looked at him in disbelief, "half, if not all, of the girls in school give you looks that are inappropriate but have you taken them all to bed?"
Mpumi scoffed, "he probably has. And here we are!"
They were about 15 minutes early. Mpumi locked his Audi and they headed for the quad. They greeted people along the way and then he saw her. She'd had braids done and they were in a bun. Her face looked fresh and clean, he couldn't help but wondered what she smelled like. Liv whispered something I her hear and she smiled. Her eyes wondered around and finally meet his. She looked at him and he did the same. She was bold but shy. She looked at him but could never hold his gaze and every time she glanced away his ego took a hike up. Her eyes were too guarded to give her away but her body and awkward movements showed him what he wanted to see.
He smiled as he took his eyes off of her but immediately he saw Ethan looking at him.
"Do you really want to go there? Look at her!"- Ethan prompted and Malcolm involuntarily looked. She was laughing at what had been said in the little group she was standing in. "She isn't this kind of girl man. If you take you will ruin her and I don't think you could live with yourself if that happened."

He stood there and looked at her but she never looked back at him. He knew she could feel him looking at her. Her body was suddenly stiff and she smiled less. He could tell she wasn't experienced, he'd probably hurt her but that wasn't guaranteed, was it? And maybe he'd be the best teacher for her. For once he wanted someone who wasn't as jaded as he was and who knows perhaps she'd want what he was offering! Malcolm was accustomed to lying to himself and he wouldn't start know. Promising Ethan he'd stay away from Katleho would be a lie not only would he be telling it to Ethan but to himself as well.

She didn't think she should tell her. But she did and now Kat regretted telling Liv about her encounter with Malcolm.
"What? He saw you in your swimsuit?"- she asked, her voice loud.
Kat looked around and thankfully the corridor was empty.
"Look, he just came for the book! And nothing happened!"- she said, hoping she'd let it go.
She didn't want false feeling surfacing or silky fantasies creeping in. And if she talked about Malcolm for too long that's what would happen.
"Did he look at you with-"
"No!"- she cut her off. "Liv nothing happened. Can you please drop it!"
The other girl sensed her seriousness and decided to comply, "fine."
They decided to work a bit. Since they had Maths after break they prepared for the class. They got stuck on an equation. Happy attempted it but couldn't get and Liv as well.
"I have to go the bathroom."- Happy announced.
"Uhm... May you please pour me some water?"- she handed Happy her bottle.
"Sure."
She made her way to the bathroom. She thought about several thing on her wa y to bathroom. Her parents were going away for a while and has asked the school to take her in their residences. She'd be living in the schools accommodation. She hated the thought of it. She loved living at home but if her parents weren't in their mansion it wasn't much of her home. Plus there had been a lot of break-in in their neighborhood and her parents didn't want her in the line of fire. She turned in the passage when something caught her eye.
Malcolm
He was talking purposeful strides and she wondered where he was headed. Against her better judgement She decided to follow him. She knew it was wrong but she wanted to know and plus it excited her. The paths he took were scarcely used but she knew he was headed to the C block. He meet a group of girls who giggled at something he said. They looked at him as though he was the best thing since sliced bread. Most of the the girls were white and even they were attracted to him.
It's 'cause he's lighter in complexion, a little voice said in her head.
He still made his way through the buildings and she trailed behind him. He still in his tracks and turned. She hid behind the wall. Her heart was pounding in her chest. She closed her eyes to calm it down. She'd almost been caught. She let out a shaky breath and opened her eyes. She gasped in horror as she took in who stood in front of her.
"Why are you following me?"- he said through gritted teeth. His eyes too dark for her to look at him. She lost her words and couldn't think of anything.
"Are you going to answer me?"
"I... I, uh I wasn't following you!"- she said, stupidly.
He looked at her for a very long time and spoke, "You are playing with fire, little one."- he whispered, his warm, minty breath hitting hitting her nostril. "I see the little looks you give me. You have been eating me up."- his voice was smug. It brought her back to earth.
"I don't know what you are talking about!"- she said, defiantly. She didn't want to show him weakness and she beat herself up for acting like a fool and following him.
"Oh really?"- he whispered leaning in closer. His scent infiltrated her senses and she needed to stand her ground. She moved away from the wall to where he couldn't cage her in, "Yes really! I was just walking to the art classes when I decided to take a breath since I'd been walking fast. When I opened my eyes there you were..."- she said, her voice sound calm and she was so proud of herself.
He narrowed his eyes on her as if assessing her to determine whether she was telling the truth.
"I need to go!"- she stated.
She didn't get very far he pulled her back by the elbow and trapped her between the wall and his warm, powerful frame. She looked at him in eye and she didn't drop his gaze as well but glanced away. It had been too intense.
"Look at me!"- he commanded.
When she didn't comply he put two fingers under her chin and she was forced to look at him. "I don't play around with me. I know you were following, weren't you?"
She wanted to lie but she just blurted the truth out, "Yes!"- she whispered.
He groaned, "why? Why were you following me!"
She dropped her gaze, "I don't know!"
She didn't dare look at him and all of a sudden she felt his lips a over hers. Her lips fell apart in an invitation. He kissed her. He tasted like gummy bears. She smiled during their kiss. It was slow and he took his time nibbling on each lip. He was teasing her. He snaked his arms around her waist pulling her closer and she instinctively placed her small hands on his shoulders. He deepened the kiss, setting her senses alight and she whimpered at the newly found sensation. Her hands explored the width of his shoulders and she loved the muscles she found there. He took her to place where only her needs mattered and nothing else. And suddenly it was gone! The warmth of his body, the invasion of his lips and the place he took her, were all gone! He'd stopped.
She opened her eyes, still dazed. They were breathing hard. Her head in the crock of his neck. She was embarrassed at her wanton behaviour.
I thought you didn't like him!
The little voice in her head mocked.
He still had his arms around her waist and her hands were on his shoulders. He stepped back to look at her. He found her eyes and she wanted to hide.
"My intentions with you are clear..."- she said huskily.
"Your intentions...?"- she asked, confused.
"I want you."- he whispered and kissed her explicitly. "And I know the feeling is mutual."- he said smugly.
Her eyes darkened.
"Ah.ah. There's no need to be angry it's natural and I am blunt! One night with me is all I can offer you. The ball is in your court Katleho."- he told her. His lips were still so close to hers. He ran his thumb over her lips and she shivered. That made him smile, she'd given herself away. He walked away from her and she stood there like an idiot embarrassed at the fact that he would even think she was that kind of girl and she was the one to blame!
