Chapter One

You were fresh out of college, and needing a job. You searched far and wide, even searching in countries that weren't your own. You lived in the suburbs of Seoul, South Korea.

You had just done another round of searching for jobs when you heard your stomach growl. Answering your body's call, you trudged downstairs getting ready to cook some ramen. You searched all of your cupboards and drawers, but guess what? Not a peek of ramen in sight.

Accepting the fact that you had to leave your home, you quickly changed and brushed your hair so you didn't go out looking like you'd hibernated for the past 3 months.

You slowly made your way to the shop, lock-in pebbles as you went. You looked up from the pavement to make sure you wouldn't bump into anyone, when a sign caught your eye. It was advertising a job in Seoul as the assistant to the CEO's of the company, and, it had good pay. It had a phone number on the bottom which you took note of in your phone. Oh, and did I forget to mention the company was the richest in South Korea? You ran home, completely forgetting about your dear ramen.

As soon as you arrived home, you sprinted upstairs to your bedroom and rung the number. On the first ring, someone picked up. "Hello, this is Minhyuk, secretary of Kim Corporation, how can I help you?" A male's voice came through the line. "Hello, my name is Y/N L/N, and I'm enquiring about a job as the assistant to your CEO's." "Okay, would you be free to take an interview in 2 days?" "Yeah, that suits, thank you!" You responded excitedly. Minhyuk chuckled as he said, "No problem, see you then!"

As soon as the call ended you started jumping around your room, until you brought yourself back down to earth by telling yourself you might not even get the job. Eventually, you fell asleep into a world of rich people, and being rich, working, and possibly, falling in love.
