A Dirty Little Deal

ADLD: Pregnant.

Athena's Pov:

9:32 pm

Athena: Ah!

Enzo: Oh!

I collapsed next to him.

Enzo: Once again, you've done it....

I cuddled him.

Athena: You're so sexy...

I kissed him again, and he smiled.

And then suddenly, very randomly, I felt like I needed to puke.

Athena: Be right back.....

I put my robe on and headed to the bathroom...

But the second I hit the toilet, I threw up.

Enzo: Athena?

Athena: Blegh!

Enzo got up and walked in.

Enzo: Athena, what's wrong?

I put my hand on my head.

Athena: I have been feeling nauseous all week....

Enzo: Have you?

Athena: I think I'm coming down with the stomach bug....

Enzo sat beside me.

Enzo: Or maybe you're pregnant....

I looked at him.

I scoffed.

Athena: I highly doubt that.

Enzo: Oh yea? And why is that? I mean, I never use protection anyway... and I almost never pull out.

I put both of my hands in my lap.

Athena: You really think I'm pregnant?

Enzo: The tests are in the cabinets.

I got up and grabbed one.

Athena: 1 step pregnancy test....

Enzo: Well....

I used the bathroom, and after, I washed my hands.

Enzo: How long do we have to wait for this thing anyway?

Athena: 3 to 5 minutes.

I began brushing my teeth after I washed my hands.

About 4 and a half minutes had passed by, and it was finally time to check, Enzo and I stood in front of the counter, I hadn't looked yet, and we were looking at it.

Athena: I'm scared...

Enzo: You're telling me....

I wrapped my arms around Enzo. He did the same to me.

Athena: What if I am?

I began to cry a little.

Enzo: I mean, this definitely wasn't the plan, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I took a deep breath.

Enzo: 1...

Athena: 2....

Enzo: 3.

We looked.

"PREGNANT."

It read.

I looked at Enzo..

Enzo: Oh wow...well....

Athena: I'm pregnant.

Tears fell from my face, Enzo held me.

I looked up at him.

Athena: Are you happy? Enzo, are you happy?

Enzo: Baby, of course I am...why would I not be?

Athena: We weren't ready....

Enzo: Well, what can we say?

It's the next morning at 8:42 am....we made our first appointment and we were scheduled to go the very next day. Enzo and I were still processing everything, but at least we were getting a baby...while Enzo was showering, though. I called Priscilla.

Prisicilla: Ms. Jenkins speaking?

Athena: Girl....

Prisicilla: Athena? How have you been, I haven't heard from you in forever!

Athena: Don't I have the business to tell you....

Prisicilla: Why? What happened?

Athena: I'm pregnant.

Prisicilla: AHHHHHHHH!

Athena: Ahahahahahahahaaa!

Prisicilla: Really?

I could hear her crying through the phone.

Priscilla: Yay, congratulations, I'm gonna be a godmother!!!!

Athena: I know, right!?

Prisicilla: Oh, but wait, I thought you and Enzo hated each other.

Athena: Well, girl, all I'm gonna say is we were able to put the past behind us.

Prisicilla: Ooh, I know that's right!

Athena: Hahaha!!!!!

And then, after calling her, I told my parents.

They just rubbed it in my face and said that I was wrong about him the whole time, but they were still happy.

And then Enzo got out of the shower and came to the couch where I was sitting.

Enzo: Hey......

He sat down next to me, and I just looked at him.

Athena: Hey.....

He wrapped his arms around me.

Athena: You always look so good after you shower....

Enzo: Do I?

I began to climb on top of him.

Athena: I have a question...

Enzo: I might have an answer...

His hands were on my waist.

Athena: Can I ride?

Enzo: Can you ride?

Athena: Can I ride?

Enzo: Of course you can.....
