Being nobody, from Marietta, a small town in Ohio, has shaped me into someone I can't shake. My personality has developed of course in the two years I've been working for Jeon Jungkook, but some things linger, like my dying need to check my surroundings at all times and my uncomfotabilty around large displays of flashy money. Walking up the stairs in direction of a room seemingly organized for me is like a bull in a china shop. I'm treading lightly, worried that I'll somehow break something in here, although all I'm doing is opening doors in search for "mine".

Finally, at the end of the hall, overlooking the railing with a full view of the downstairs left side of the house, I opened the door.

My heart, that's been in survival mode for hours, stopped.

Breathtaking. A large, velvet bed frame, a king but looks even bigger up close, was so large it took up a portion of the room. Which was huge to begin with. I closed the door behind me and locked it to take in everything. White bedding with a red skirt, red throw blankets, and even red pillows. I ran my hands along the textures, an unidentifiable smile spreading across my face.

I almost forgot I'm a hostage.

I looked up, greeted with a chandelier of my own. Not as large as the one downstairs, but still silver and stunning. I threw my bag onto one of the matching black velvet chairs, that resembles a throne, and wandered over to a large shut door which I guessed was a bathroom. I guessed correct, but I couldn't come close to guessing how beautiful it would be inside. The marble floor resembled the one downstairs, dark and laced with smoky grey streaks. Both the dark shower and tub greeted me hello, and I couldn't imagine turning it down. Without a second thought I stripped and entered the glass sliding door of the shower.

"Courtesy of Jeon Jungkook,"

The beautiful young female knocked and entered with a large, not shockingly red box, a beautiful black bow tying it shut. I smiled at her to be kind and avoided the urge to ask her an insane amount of questions. I'm fresh out of my shower in a silk robe I found hanging in the bathroom, wet hair and all.

She left and I sat down with it. Curiosity peaked my interest and I caught a quick glance at the clock on the wall. Its 3 pm and she still isn't done with the pre-meal she's making. Dinner is at 8.

The box is staring at me. I'm staring at the box. We're staring at each other.

3:10 p.m. I took a deep breath and tugged at the ribbon, lifting the cover, and reaching for the black silk that laid inside. I stood with it and held it in front of me. A long evening gown. I walked to the mirror, let the robe drop, and slipped it on. My nipples poked through the fabric but hugged my body perfectly.

Jeon Jungkook. Who are you?

The closet almost the size of the room itself was walkthrough. For the most part it was empty, but in the far back corner and small selection of clothing hung with tags. A few heels at the floor as well. I bent down and checked if they were my size.

They were.

I huffed and undressed again, hanging the dress up in place of a pair of black silk pajamas. I put on the slippers I found in the bathroom, and made my way back to the box. Inside, hidden amongst all the tissue paper was a small note card which read:

𝘿𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚. 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙. - 𝐉.𝐊

A considerate, thoughtful kidnapper.

"I see you've found the kitchen," V teased, just passing through. "And your closet." He stopped in his tracks and watched me walk over to Mrs. Jung. Silently, she placed a bowl on the island top. I sat and looked back at him.

"Where is Jungkook?"

He positioned himself against the archway frame, arms folded, smile on his face. "Well I'll be damned." He cocked his head to the side. "She has stockholm syndrome."

Halfway through a spoonful of the chicken soup, I choked.

"Nobody is explaining anything to me. I don't know any of you, and the big guys with guns won't talk to me either. Note: they all have guns and this place is gated. Enlighten me, where exactly am I going?" I put my spoon down and put a finger on my chin. "Oh! I also don't have a phone. Don't know where I am..."

"Be happy you're alive, little girl." He teased. I caught a glimpse of black tucked in his waistband. I looked away and swallowed. "If I were him I would've shot you."

And with that, he made his exit.

I stared at the warm meal before me and struggled to try another bite. Not because it isn't good, but because of his words accompanying the gun he wore. She must've read my thoughts as she spoke from the sink where she washed something.

"Don't let him get under your skin." She walked to the fridge and groaned to bend down in search of something. "You're the new guy. He's just making fun."

"Thats how they make fun? Death threats?"

"None of them are used to new people in here. Neither am I. Nobody is. Visitors are limited, and if they're here, they're locked away with Jungkook upstairs and don't speak to anyone." She grabbed a pitcher of something then faced me, eyeing my frame from my seat. "Let alone women. Even more rare."

My mind immediately went to the girl with dark hair from the club. I made note to bring that up later.

I gained the courage to eat and listened intently. I cleared my throat.

"Aren't you allowed out..?"

She poured me a glass of what could be tea and shrugged. "Sure I am, but I'm always preoccupied with work. I go for groceries, house essentials, things like that. This morning was more fun than stressful as I had an excuse to decorate a room for you and buy you a few things."

"Thank you very much for all of it."

"Just my job." She noted. "Besides, none of it is my money." She met my eyes as she started to wipe the counters.

"Are you allowed to tell me who he is? Or why I'm here?"

She sighed and flashed a smile of pity. "It's not that I'm not allowed, but that I'd prefer he'd tell you himself." She finished up and placed her hands on her hips. "I'll see you around hun. If you need me, notify one of the big guys with guns and they'll get me."

I nodded and watched her leave for the right side of the estate.
