At 8:30 I found the courage to leave the room. I watched the time leading up to 8 with butterflies in my stomach. I couldn't find it in me, which is odd, because I'm bold lipped sharp tounged and I have questions to be answered.

So instead of not going at all, I settled, 30 minutes late. I left my hair down, dress on with nothing underneath as I rummaged through all the drawers and storage and found no underwear. My heels clicked against the beautiful floors as I found my way to the kitchen.

Its empty.

Should've guessed there's a dinning room.

I wandered to the foyer and found the blondie who helped me earlier still in position, neutral expression, looking straight ahead. I walked in front of him. He met my eyes.

"Hi."

No answer. His eyes fell, observing me head to toe. I thought I imagined it, but his tongue dragged across his bottom lip. My ears felt hot.

Something behind me caught his eye, as his eyes fled mine and looked elsewhere.

My eyebrow raised. Is he seriously scared that other guy in here is going to snitch on him?

"Hey, you helped me earlier. The least you could do is tell me where the dinning room is, then I'll leave you alone for good." I chuckled.

No response.

"Red."

My pulse hammered at the sound. Slowly, I turned. At full height standing before me he wore a white button up rolled to his elbows, exposing his forearms of ink. The coarse, thick veins bulged as he crossed his arms. As if he could detect my heartbeat or identify my heavy breathing, he took a few prolonged steps closer. I took one back but he caught up to me quickly, and put a hand on the small of my back.

We're uncomfortably close to blondie. I took a look down and realized I'm a few inches away from impaling his shoe with my stiletto.

Jungkook and I are within breaths reach as his hand glides along the silk, dangerously close to my ass. I'm not entirely sure I'm breathing anymore. He leans into my ear, but whispers loud enough for both of us to hear:

"The dress looks better than I imagined, but it'll look even better on the ground."

Thankfully, I came back to my senses and gave him a shove. Hard enough he stumbled back. Blondie cleared his throat behind me. Jungkook's eyes darkened.

"Where's dinner?"

He ignored me then turned and I followed him.

To my surprise the dinning room is empty, but two plates across the large table from each other. So he knows me well enough to know that I don't want to be next to him right now. I clear my own throat and make my way to one. He says nothing and does the same.

Without having to call, someone comes over and fills his glass with whiskey.

They approach me and ask what I'd like. I consider sobriety but thinking about the turn my life has taken, I request my favorite brand of red wine.

The staff winces. "I'm afraid we don't carry that here, ma'am."

Considering it's a supermarket brand, I'm not surprised. Jungkook didn't hesitate to ask for something in place of it. I didn't question him, just let the staff walk away and leave us together.
