Arabella, Sam, and Dean step out of the Impala, parked in front of the roadhouse.
"Los Angeles, California," Dean announces.
Sam raises an eyebrow. "What's in L.A.?"
"A young girl's been kidnapped by an evil cult," Dean replies.
Arabella grimaces. "That doesn't sound very fun."
Dean rolls his eyes. "Yeah, but it's kind of our job, sweetheart."
Sam nods. "Yeah? Does the girl have a name?"
"Katie Holmes," Dean says.
Sam laughs. "That's funny. And for you, so bitchy."
All three of them pause as they hear the sound of breaking glass and shouting voices.
Dean turns. "Of course, on the other hand — catfight."
The three of them walk inside the roadhouse.
When they enter, Ellen and Jo were shouting. Sam, Dean, and Arabella walk in cautiously.
"I am your mother; I don't have to be reasonable!" Ellen yells at Jo.
Jo shouts in frustration. "You can't keep me here!"
Arabella looks between the two and then glances at the boys. "Maybe we shouldn't be here..."
Ellen scoffs at Jo. "Oh, don't you bet on that, sweetie."
"What are you going to do? Are you going to chain me up in the basement?" Jo remarks.
"You know what, you've had worse ideas than that recently. Hey, if you don't want to stay, don't stay. Go back to school," Ellen suggests.
Jo groans. "I didn't belong there! I was a freak with a knife collection."
Ellen scoffs again. "Yeah, and getting yourself killed on some dusty back road, that's where you belong?!" Ellen turns to Arabella, Sam, and Dean. "Guys, bad time."
Sam nods. "Yes, ma'am."
Arabella groans as she whispers to the boys. "Told you so."
"Yeah, we rarely drink before ten anyway," Dean nods.
Jo interrupts. "Wait. I want to know what they think about this."
A mom, a dad, and two kids under three, all wearing bright yellow t-shirts that read "Nebraska is for Lovers," enter the roadhouse.
"I don't care what they think!" Ellen yells.
"Are you guys open?" the dad asks.
Jo shouts, "No!" at the same time as Ellen yells, "Yes!"
The dad looks around nervously. "We'll just... check out the Arby's down the road."
The family leaves. The phone rings. Jo glares at it, then at Ellen, who stalks over to answer it.
