A mostly fluffy chapter!
--------------------------------*Green*
Nervously picking some grass, I ignore the lightning as Time, Elemental, and Blue return from their little adventure. Taking a deep breath I drop the grass and stand up, patting myself off.
Heading to the house where the Violets are for their daily check up, especially Violet Leader.
He's been overworking himself, staying late in the night and not getting any sleep just so that he can watch over his people.
I'm quite close to knocking him out myself. If his people were to wake up to the sight of their sleep deprived and mentally hurt Leader, it wouldn't do them any good.
In fact it'll cause them to worry and panic, and I cannot have that.
Stopping for enough time to notice that the three were quietly talking amongst themselves.
Turning away I rushed towards the Violet's 'home'. Knocking on the door, the Leader opened it, he looked like a complete mess.
Hair knotted and unkept, eyebags were starting to appear. He smiles at the sight of me, "Good Day Green!"
"Good Day, Violet Leader." I bow my head slightly as he moves aside to allow me inside.
"You look stressed Green." He speaks looking at me with worry, "What is the matter?"
I look over my shoulder towards the shut door before looking right back at the concerned leader, "Have you noticed how secretive they have been?"
"I have, I've just decided not to worry about it right now. I'm more worried about the state of my people." He answers, pushing some of his unkept hair out of his face.
I just nod, "Of course."
"Are you here to see my people? Or is there something that you need?" He questions, tilting his head slightly.
"I don't need anything," right now, "I'm here to help. And that includes helping you." I point at him.
He narrows his eyes slightly, "What ever is that supposed to mean Green Steve?" A frown was settled on his face.
"You know exactly what I mean." I glare at him, "Sit down, now."
I point at one of the chairs in his living room. The frown flattens into a straight line, as he stares at me.
He sighs with a shake of his head and sits down, and I follow sitting down on the second chair.
"You do know that if your people were to wake up and see you in such a state, that they'd be alarmed and worried." I look at the disgruntled Violet Leader.
"I know, I truly do know Green Steve." The Leader rubs his brow, with a sigh, "Things had changed so fast, I suppose I'm just trying to figure, no, piece together everything again."
"I understand that, however going about it this way, going on with no sleep or care for your well-being, won't help you at all." Glaring at him as I say this.
He slides down slightly in his chair, looking at the floor, avoiding my eye contact. He pushes some of his hair over his ear, not looking back up, "I physically cannot get myself to relax. Nor am I able to sleep."
"Try Jasmine or Lavender tea. Both are good for sleep and reducing stress. If you don't want to try teas I have other things you can try, such as journaling to destress yourself, whether by writing in it or just scribbling in it. That's not even all, so I can give you a list." I explain, doing slight hand motions to express myself more.
