July 20th, 2018.
Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Hey Rob, I'm gonna go for a shower in a few minutes. So if you wanna use the bathroom, now's your chance." Chris said from the bathroom, as Robyn flicked through the channels.

"I'm good. You think maybe we can go out one night?." Robyn asked, as Chris stood in the doorway of the bathroom.

"Like a date?." He asked with a raised brow.

"Maybe." Robyn replied, with a little smirk to her face. Before Chris went back into the bathroom.

"Breaking news! We have just received CCTV footage of two individuals, carrying what looks to be Andrew's Price's body. The footage was taken from the camera across the road from Mr. Price's home-"

"Shit!" Robyn mumbled to herself, as she switched on the news channel. To see what was on. "Chris, get in here!" Robyn called out, before Chris stepped out of the bathroom.

They won't be staying in Las Vegas for long though, they are hoping to stay just for another day or two and then they will be off to Los Angeles. Robyn told Chris last night that she had a friend in Houston. And she contacted her friend to ask, if she and "a friend." Could stay at her place.

But should Robyn tell her friend why she needs a place to stay? Or are they going to keep all this away from her?.

"Shit!" Chris said. As the reporter showed a picture of himself and Robyn on the screen.

"What are we gonna do?." Robyn asked, before Chris went into one of his bags.

"Okay? This is what we do. Grab that bag over there and put what's inside it on." Chris said, as Robyn rushed to the bag.

"Wait? Why is there a yellow wig in here? Chris? What are we-"

"If we need to go out, we can't-" Before Chris could finish his sentence, they heard a police car pull up.

"Shit!" They both said in unison, as they looked outside the window.

"Okay? Now we move!" Chris said, before he grabbed his gun. As Robyn did the same.

"Wait? Where do we go? If they know we are here-"

"Okay. Every motel has a back door, right? They probably will go to the front desk first. So we have time to go." Chris said, before they made their way out of the motel room.

They left everything behind, only taking their phones, cash and guns, with them. Chris already had the car keys in the back pocket of his Jeans. Which he now knows he needs to ditch this car, and get a new one.

They hid behind a wall, as they saw a police officer making his way through the corridor. Robyn had an idea to shoot him, before he found them.

Nothing was heard from the shot, luckily they had gotten a silencer when they were getting more stuff last night.

"The hell?." Chris asked, as they quickly ran through the back door.

"Did you want him to look there and find us? No! I didn't think so." Robyn said as Chris unlocked the car.

"Hey! Stop right there!" An officer shouted. Before he grabbed his radio. "Dispatch! We have-" Chris shot him twice, in the chest. Before he and Robyn got into the car.

Chris took a breath before he started the car, he didn't care that his hands were shaking. All he cared about was getting him and Robyn the hell out of Las Vegas.

"We need to ditch this car. And fast!" Robyn said, as Chris was already 10 steps ahead of her.

"Okay, okay! Let me think?..." He said, before Robyn saw a car in a parking lot of a supermarket.

"Chris, stop! There." She said, pointing to a car.

"Whoa! I'll kill a cop to save our asses. But I won't-"

"We have no choice. It's either we steal that car, or we get caught driving this car." Robyn asked him, before Chris made a right turn to the parking lot.

It was now just past 7 in the evening, and this was not on their to do list. Robyn grabbed a branch to get the door open.

"Um? Rob? Do you know what you're doing?." Chris asked looking around.

"I used to do this when I was younger. When I didn't want to be in the same house as my foster parents. I used to break into cars all the ti- ah-ha. Got it." Robyn said, before she quickly ran back to the car, to grab their guns from the back seat. "All right, let's go." She said, as she went in the car. Before Chris did the same.

Robyn showed Chris how to start a car without keys. She did that as Chris listened to her, looked for a few seconds, then looked if someone was coming or not. After the car had started, Chris and Robyn made their way out of the parking lot and onto the road.

"Maybe you should hop in the back and get some sleep?." Chris said, as Robyn rested her head on the window.

"I'm good." Robyn said, before Chris looked at her for a second.

"You get some sleep, Rob. I'll let you know when we get to Houston."

"What about you? You need sleep too. So why don't you-"

"Okay? I'll make you a deal. You sleep for half of this trip. Then I'll wake you up. Then we can switch, okay?." Chris said, as Robyn took her belt off.

"Sounds good to me." She said, before she climbed over to the backseat.

As Robyn made herself comfortable, Chris opened the window a crack to let some air in. So that he doesn't fall asleep while driving.

They knew they were never going to set foot in Vegas, again. And Chris knows it's too late to go back to New York....

They both hope they can get to somewhere safe soon, even if it's just for a few days...
