For the next three years, you went back to the tournament that happened every beginning of spring to ensure your winning streak
Alongside that, you continued your training in the forest and took your training to another level by training in high mana concentrated zones
You were fifteen, a few months before the grimoire award ceremony, when discovered a volcano that was enveloped in mana
Wanting to know more about the place, you of course decided to go have a closer look
As you took your first step on the volcano's surface, you felt the heat of the surface burn the sole of your foot as you jumped back
"Ow, ow, owwww!!" You shout in pain on the floor as you held on to your right foot "the hells up with the place, I'm no where near where the actual volcano is!"
That's when you felt an overwhelming yet familiar presence
It was too familiar
Almost like
"Mereoleona!" You exclaimed in excitement as you jumped up to your feet, ignoring the pain your right foot was still in
She was far, but not too far
She was at the bottom of the volcano and from what you could feel, she was about to climb up
How the hell was she already over there but you couldn't even get past the edge
That's when you felt something around her
It was almost like mana was covering her body
"That's it!" You shout
It took a lot of concentration, but you managed to get a grasp on what she was doing
She was layering her mana on her body like an extra set of skin to protect herself from the heat, and with enough concentration, you were able to accomplish the same
You then took a step onto the surface that had previously burned your right foot, but this time you didn't feel the heat
"Alright!" You cried out and then you dashed in the direction of Mereoleona
You realized that the time it took you to figure this trick out, she had already began her climb to the summit
To make yourself go faster, you slid your foot one after another as the earth moved fluidly against your feet, almost like you were skating, as you went up the volcano
