chapter 7 😍

I didn't know how to reject Eli so I just didn't. I let him have me because I couldn't leave. I knew this would've been bad but I never thought doing something bad would feel so goddamn good. I was cuddling Elijah and he was allowing it. I was about to fall asleep because he was slowly tickling up my back and back down. I loved it.
"Are you sleeping Darlin?" Eli asks.
"I was about to." I smile, snuggling into his chest.
"Ok then go to sleep I just gotta go to the bathroom." Eli chuckles, moving me.
"Ugh, now I won't be able to sleep." I say, plopping to the pillows rolling into his warm spot.
I stare at the bracelet.
Darlin. He called me that since we met. And 19:34 was when I knew something good wasn't going to come out of this. I put my head under the blankets and... Well I fell asleep.
... Elijah
I look at her and she is sleeping. I smile but shake it off and speed walk to Kamerons father's room. I needed to see something. I open the door as quiet as I could and walk in. I can tell which side is his wife's side and which one is his because the left one has a bunch of makeup on it. And the other one has one single book. I go to her fathers, Aarons, side of the bed and look around. I pull out the drawer and look through it. When I looked in here the first time I was here I noticed a Manila folder on his desk with my last name and I looked and I didn't see it and it has been bugging me. I don't find anything. I sweep the top again and the book falls I bend over to grab it but see I vent. It looks like someone was breaking into it. I go to move it but hear rustling.
"Eli?" Kameron says.
I hurry up and grab the book and then put it back and run out of there room to the living room.
"Eli?" Kameron says, again.
"Yes Kameron?" I say, clearing my voice.
"Saying Kameron sounds like an insult from you." Kameron laughs.
"Did you need something?" I ask.
"Yea for you to come back to bed." She says, crossing her arms.
"I will in a minute." I say, and grab my keys.
"Where are you going?" She asks.
"I just need to go take a drive." I say, and I sound angry.
"Uh, Kay. See you when you get back." She says, obviously annoyed.
I nod. I don't want her to be mad at me so a speed walk and plant a mouth watering kiss on her lips which I can tell made her bad mood gone. I smile after I pull away and go to the car. I just then noticed how much time me and Kameron have been spending together because it felt weird in the car without her next to me. God, I'm obsessed with you Darlin.
