"DAD, I CAN'T FIND MY CAMERA!" A seven-year-old Alexandra screeched, running down the stairs frantically.

"Hugo, did you wake up your sister?" Joseph yelled from the kitchen, packing his kids' lunch. "And your cameras in my room, honey!" He called out.

Hugo walked into his little sister's room, walking over to her bed and shaking her lightly. "Come on, Maysey. Dad's waiting." The little girl groaned, turning over. Hugo huffed, turning around and walking out. "She's not getting up!" He called back to his dad.

Alexandra walked up to her dad, "Can we stop by the bookstore this time, daddy?" She asked, looking up at him.

He looked back down at her, running a hand through her hair and kissing her forehead. "Sure, baby." He smiled, giving her the lunch esky. "Take this to the car for me, hm?" She nodded sweetly, grabbing the heavy esky and walking towards the front door.

"She's not getting up, dad." Hugo walked into the kitchen with his backpack on his back.

Joseph rolled his eyes, "Maysey!" He yelled out, walking into his youngest's daughter's room. "Come on, honey." He picked her up off her bed with a grunt, carrying her small body to the car. "Alex, open the door for me." He asked.

Alex jumped out of the car, walking around and opening the door for him. Joe placed his daughter in the car, calling out to Hugo. "Hugo, you coming?" He walked back into the house, leaving Alex at the car.

"I've got Mays suitcase!" Hugo yelled, walking outside himself and to the car.

The father ran back up the stairs, shutting all the doors and walking back down. He locked his office, then grabbed the car keys, and the house keys off the kitchen counter. He made his way out of the house, locking the house door and shoving them into his pocket.

"I'm older, I'm sitting in the front!" Alex argued, pushing Hugo.

Hugo pushed her back, "Well, I'm taller. I should sit in the front."

"If you both keep fighting, May will be sitting in the front." Joe raised an eyebrow, hopping in the driver's seat. "Rock, paper, scissors."

Alex huffed, turning to her brother. "Rock, paper, scissors, shoot—"

"We never do shoot! That's not fair!" Hugo whined, stomping his foot childishly.

Joe groaned, "Fine." He stopped their bickering, turning around and grabbing May, picking her up and placing her in the front. "You both don't get the front. Now get in before I leave you here."✧ ˚ · . __________________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
