chapter one ⅰ. airbag"DAD! HUGO STOLE MY CONTOUR AGAIN!" May announced, storming down the stairs with a makeup brush in her hand. "If he wants abs, he's gonna have to work for them!"
Hugo walked out of the downstairs bathroom calmly, "Okay, I took it once." He claimed, "And I already have abs, no need to contour them." He shrugged.
She pointed an accusing finger in his face, "Liar!"
Alexandra walked in, throwing her contour at her sister. "Use mine." She said, "And you still haven't given my jumper back." She continued, walking back into the bathroom.
May tilted her head, "I thought it was Hugos?"
"It was!" The brother responded, in the middle of brushing his teeth. "She asked for it once and never gave it back." He rolled his eyes.
Alex shrugged, putting her hair up messily. "It wasn't getting put to good use." She took the pin out of her mouth, shoving it into her hair. "We're using my bike, May!" She called out.
"Uh, no." May scoffed, "We used yours yesterday." She said, walking into Hugos room and shuffling through to find his wallet. "Mines probably rusting as we speak!" She yelled from upstairs.
She took Hugos wallet out of his draw, flipping through and finding his cash, grabbing it out and shoving it into her back pocket, putting the wallet back. She turned around to face Hugo. He held out a hand, "I hide my wallet for a reason."
"Yeah, well you don't hide it well." She slapped the money onto his hand with an eyeroll.
He watched her walk out of his room, "You still owe me ten dollars!"
"No I don't!" She smiled, "That's what older siblings are for!" She replied smugly, grabbing her bag and walking down the stairs. She grabbed her keys, pointing at Alex. "We're taking my bike."
Her sister huffed, grabbing her own bag and walking into the kitchen quickly. "Dad?" She called out. "We're leaving!"
He walked out from his office, "Okay, I'll be at the shop when you get home." He kissed the side of her head before walking to the front yard where May was sitting on her motorbike. "I'll see you later, honey!" He turned back around to his oldest daughter. "Don't go over one hundred." He said, walking back into the house.
She nodded, walking to May. "Don't go over a hundred." She sat behind her sister, putting on her helmet.
May revved her bike, "I always do."

"No, 'cause she called and was like 'I know what you did' and I was like—" Alex tuned out with a sigh, turning away from Lydia and Allison and looking down the hall. Her eyes found Stiles, Scott and her brother who were walking not far away. "Alex? Are you listening?"
Alex snapped her head to Lydia, "Hm?"
"I said," Lydia laughed slightly, "Did you hear about the dear? Allison and I crashed into one last night." She informed her. "Scott thinks it's a bad sign out of three."
Allison nodded, "He said it was terrified."
Alex's eyes shot up, unamused. "Spooky."
Lydia hit her arm. "We're serious, Alex." She shook her head. "Something bad is coming."
"Isn't there always?" She sighed. "Look, I know a lot of shit has happened, but he could be reaching." She suggested whilst shrugging. "If something was gonna happen, I'd know."
