★{Ancestors}★
It had been seven years.
Seven years since it all started. Seven years since they had last seen Damien. Since then nothing had been the same. Friends became enemies and enemies became...acquaintances? A lot of it was confusing to say the least. The soft thud of his, now empty, cup being set on the kitchen table took him out of his thoughts and made him focus on the figure sitting opposite of him.
"You know, the weirdest part about the last few years has to be you starting to like coffe without sweetaner, Exodus." Rozela laughed, trying lighten the mood. She managed to get a soft
smile on her friends face, but it fell as soon as it appeared. This day was hard for them both.
This was the day that that Dark Control had came back to their kingdom in Damiens body. Both of them had dark circles under their eyes from the lack of sleep.
"Hey..." Rozela started"I have something I wanted to talk to you about"
She was visibly uncomfortable and anxsious, she was failing to hide the studder in her voice and she was playing with her hands. This all confused but mostly worried Exodus as she was known for being incredibly calm and straight forward, he hadn't seen her like this for a very long time. He knew this was serious so he didn't interupt and just listend.
"I... I think I know how to bring him back"
"Bring back who?"
"Damien"
...
.....
The mystery paper in her hands rusteld as she scanned over it again. She really shouldn't be suprised at this, she knew that sooner or later they would want to meet up again but it still felt...unnatural to her.
Guess she still kinda saw them as enemies.
Her eyes darted from one word to another.
...
Dear Hella
I wanted to invite you to a heros meet up at Rozela's and Exodus' home. You don't have to bring anything, we have everything we need:)
Love
Aria...
She didn't trust them, not really.
It has been some time since she had seen any of the heros. Sure they send eachother letters and they chatted when she bumped into one of them on their way to a diffrent relm. But those letters were always official manners and their conversations always ended on small talk.
They all didn't seem to trust her either.
Especially Nina. She never stopped to say hello and on the rare ocasions she did her hand was always in a tight grasp around her sword, her face failing to hide the irritacion bubbling up to the surface at a quick pace.
It was by no means her fault and Hella obviusly didn't blame her. The demon herself even after all this time still enjoyed the taste of the others fury and the smug look on her face didn't quite manage to hide it.
Looking at the old plastic clock sat next to my makeshift bed (which was really just a matress and a blanket) she saw it was getting late, so she stood up and walked out of the small cave she was in. She didn't really tend to stay situated in one place for long, moving the little amount of things she owned to a different cave or ruin when the old place got boring.
