Elijah’s pov ;
I never knew having other men's hands all over him, touching him and trying to feed him fruits would excite him so much.
“I hate you soooo much!” He slurred and hit my chest while he could barely stand. I have to unwantedly snake my hand around his waist to help him stand and have some dignity, of which he clearly doesn't care about as an actor.
I growled at the hosts, "Get lost."
They scattered, clearly frightened, and quickly ran away. I turned back to Ash, but the man I saw last time with him stepped between us. I think his name is Noah.
“Please leave him alone. He's just slightly drunk. I'll take care of him,” He stole Ash from my side and Ash too hugged him.
My blood boils even more. I don't care how close they are but I don't like when someone tries to snatch something from me.
Without thinking, I yanked Ash back from him. "Do you even know he can't handle alcohol? Why the hell did you let him drink?"
The guy groaned and sassed, glaring at me. It was as if he couldn't even bear seeing my face. Well, the feelings were mutual.
“He's not a kid. And why should you care? Ash is a single man now. He should do whatever he wants, drink, and have fun around new people."
I didn't like his attitude, and my voice turned dangerously low. "If you don't want to lose the rest of your company, then piss off."
His glare intensified, my words clearly hitting a sour spot in him. His reaction satisfied me to some extent.
"I’m not going anywhere, Mr. Asshole. Ash deserves to have a good time, and I won’t let you control him. Get over him.”
My jaw clenched and my grip around Ash tightened. I glanced down at Ash for a split second who had already passed out.
Get over him? Hmph! I never loved him, so, what's there to get over? He's just a murderer in my eyes now.
“Manager?!”
I called the club manager, who came running just in a few seconds because he's clearly aware of my influence. Ryder arrived too, and when he saw me holding Ash protectively, he whistled, a mischievous grin on his face.
"Well, well, it looks like someone's feeling possessive," Ryder teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Ignoring his useless comments, I turned to the manager. "Book the most private and luxurious hotel room available, now."
The manager nodded quickly. "Of course, Mr. Stone. Right away."
“Hand Ash over to me,” Noah stepped forward, still protesting. This rat is getting on my nerves now. "I’m not letting you take Ash anywhere alone."
Annoyed, I shot a look at Ryder, who immediately understood my orders. He laughed and winked at me playfully before grabbing Noah and pulling him to his side away from me and Ash.
The angry man clashed into Ryder’s chest and soon began to struggle against him while cursing and insulting both Ryder and me.
Against a playful and cunning fox that Ryder is, Noah who was more stubborn and fierce.
"Get off me, bastard!" he snapped, trying to push Ryder away.
Ryder’s grin only widened further, clearly enjoying the tussle. "Relax, dude. My bestie isn't going to hurt your precious Ash. But if you keep fighting me, you might get hurt."
