Love Me Again

Chapter 1

"damn, I'm gonna be late." She mumbled to herself while running down the hallway until she bumped into something hard and fell down on the ground. "Hey ow-" he spoke with the hint of slight annoyance while rubbing his chest.

"Ow!.." she groaned as she fall down on the ground and looked up before rubbing her elbow. "I'm sorry, are you hurt? i seriously didn't see you." She apologized. He looked at her and held his hand out for her to grab and to help her stand up.

"I'm fine.. it doesn't hurt that bad." He mumbled as she took his hand in her and stood up

"I'm sorry once again..." she said keeping her head lowered. "Hey.." he said, "aren't you the new transferred student from yesterday?"

she nodded. "Yes,...I am"

"well ..." He thought for a bit, looking at her petite figure, soft and silky hair and beautiful features. "I'm your classmate. Lee Heeseung." he said holding out his hand for a handshake. She finally looked up at his face and couldn't stop staring at his charming face until she realized that she was staring. "damn, handsome" she thought and quickly shook her thoughts away and shook his hand.

"N-nice to meet you. I'm Miki"

"yeah I know.. you already introduced yourself well, yesterday."

Miki smiled slightly and then her gaze shifted to her watch... "We're gonna be late." Heeseung smirked and left her hand, "Yeah sure, let's go before that stupid professor become a red bull because of our tardiness"

They both went to the class on time and sat down at their desks. That day during the classes, Miki kept looking at his direction, taking secret glances at him. "He looks so kind and... handsome" she thought before focusing on the teacher.

Since that day, Heeseung became Miki's friend since he was the first ever student who talked with Miki.

Their regular chats, classes and their being class mates brought them closer and they became good friends.

Hanging out, sharing lunch and joking all the times. They had really good bond together.

Slowly but eventually their friendship grew into something else, something more. Something endearing and lovely and they both ended up dating.

Heeseung didn't confessed, he just said they should be more than friends and so Miki, who was already secretly in love, gave in. She confessed right away and the both started dating.

Everyone in school knew about their relationship, Miki always loving and caring for Heeseung and Heeseung always sticking with Miki. Their lovely couple was famous in the whole school.

But one day it all changed. Almost a year of dating each other, Heeseung came to Miki and told her that he never loved her... he was just playing with her all this time

"you can't do this to me! Heeseung!" She cried as she yelled at him but Heeseung just stood there, no regrets no shame on his face. "Grow up Miki. Nobody asked you to love a playboy like me." he coldly said and walked away while Miki cried "Heeseung you can't leave me like this.. don't tell me it was fake, all my love, my care, my affection for you was real then why did you-" She paused when she heard Heeseung.

"Yes, it was fake. I played like always"

"You are lying! it wasn't fake!... I kn-know it was real. Heeseung I love yo-" She got cut off by him.

"pathetic." He scoffed and turned around to walk away.

"Heeseung please. Please i can't bear it."

"then don't" He bluntly said and walked away leaving Miki crying on her knees.

It was all too much for her. She couldn't bear it. Miki loved him with her whole heart but he just played with her heart as if it was nothing.

Miki's life changed after that day. She stayed in her apartment all day and night for weeks, crying every minute. There was no one to check on her, her parents already died long ago and Heeseung used to be her only support

The heartbreak was too much for Miki. She couldn't help but cry everyday and every night. Heeseung was her first Love and she got to experience a heartbreak in her first love was too much for her to bear.

Miki started to have pains in her heart indicating that it wasn't something normal. She went for a check up and the doctors gave her the news that it was serious and it'll be more worse if she kept grieving over things.

The doctors advised her that she should leave the city and move to a place where she can't see him or where there's nothing to remind her of him.

Miki came home and couldn't think about the right plan. She was stuck what to do or not to do. At last she finally decided what to do, what would be best for her and her wounded broken heart.
