Clarke:

I wake up to the sound of screams. Confusion fills my brain as I wonder where I am. My eyes shoot open as I remember that I'm being sent down to the ground. To earth.

Around me are panicking teenagers, terror in their eyes. To the left of me is a familiar but hated face.

"You're awake," Wells says rather loudly, trying to overpower the shouts with his voice.

"Wells, what are you doing here?" I ask. He shouldn't be here. I don't think I could stand him being on earth with me. He killed my parents, and I could never forgive him for that.

"I'm here for you," he replies, "but I need to ask you one thing."

He's here for me? Did he not catch on? He needs to stay away from me. His face reminds me everyday of my parents being sucked out of the door that lead them to an eternity of oblivion.

"What?" I ask hesitantly.

"As you can see, we're in a life or death situation here.." He pauses as I look out of the dropship windows. Flames, flames, and more flames.

Wells continues, "I can't die knowing that you hate me!"

"Wells, you didn't just get my parents arrested, you killed them! I do hate you!"

He looks hurt but I don't pity him at all. He deserves to feel guilty about turning my parents in.

Suddenly, I'm distracted by a huge force that hits the dropship. Then, the flames slowly disappear and our seat belts unclick. We made it. We made it to earth.
