Chapter 5: Jasper

Bellamy:

I run outside toward the shouts and see my sister clutching onto two people.

"Octavia!" I yell. She looks over at me in pain.

"What happened?!" I demand.

A girl named Roma speaks up. "She was cut with a knife when trying to get to Jasper. They took him."

"Who? Who took Jasper?" I ask, demanding answers again.

Octavia spoke this time. "Earth-borns, Bell. Grounders."

Hundreds of questions zoom through my mind all at once. I control my thoughts for a split second to order two guys to take Octavia to the infirmary tent, but the unanswered questions come straight back to me.

I decide to go over to where Clarke is standing and talk to her. She is talking to Monty when I walk over. I listen in to their conversation to discover that Clarke is asking all of the questions that I wanted closure to.

Monty looks over at me and relief overcomes his eyes.

"Bellamy, thank god, Jasper's been taken and we need to get him back," he says really fast. "Please," he adds.

"Monty, don't worry, we'll get him back. I promise," I say, regretting it immediately. I need to stop making promises I can't keep.

People are mumbling with fear and worry. Clarke tries to get everything organised by shouting.

"HEY!" Everyone goes silent as she continues, "We will send out a search party tomorrow," she pauses then adds, "Everything is going to be okay."

Sorry for the short chapter bellarkies, but I've been pretty busy recently. Hope you like it!

Anyway, I am going to start a new fanfiction. I'm not releasing the name of it or when it will be published yet but I am going to pre-write a lot of the chapters before publishing it. I will let you guys know when it's up.
