Taylor Swift and Harmony Brown were inseparable. Their moms were best friends and coincidentally they both gave birth to their kids on the same day which resulted their kids to be best friends too.

"Harmony! You're gonna be late! Hurry up, kid!" The brown haired girl heard her mom's voice from the kitchen. Being late wasn't unusual for her but her mom was always determined to get her kid to school on time. "I'm coming!" Jeez, being few minutes late is not a big deal she thought to herself.

"Taylor!" She yelled when she finally arrived to school. She gave her mom a quick hug, got out of the car and made her way quickly to her best friend who waved at her with big smile. The blonde girl signalized Harmony to hurry up and she obviously did so. She jumped into Taylor's arms "I missed you", she mumbled still hugging her best friend.

"We haven't seen each other in two days loser" Taylor laughed and shook her head but kept hugging her favorite person. "Okay, we should probably go, our first lesson starts in.." at that exact time the school bell began to ring. "Shit" they both mumbled and ran towards their class.

Harmony couldn't really focus on today's lessons. Like always actually. Her mind was wandering around everything and nothing. She bit the tip of her pen and moved her eyes from the window to the whiteboard. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw how many notes she still had to write down. After all those boring lessons it was finally break for lunch. Since she didn't see Taylor for few hours - which for her were tortures, it felt like ages since she saw her best friend - she quickly ran through the hallways to find the blonde girl.

"Taylor you actually won't believe what happened" she started as they both were sitting under the tree eating their lunches. "So there's this guy and he's been trying so hard to get my number-"
She was quickly cut off by Taylor "What guy? Do I know him?" Harmony laughed at her best friend's protectiveness over her.

"No, you don't. Don't worry though, I'm not interested in him. Ew" she laughed "Anyway, there's this guy and well, some might think hes cute but in my opinion he actually isn't. He sent me four letters asking me to go out with him throughout the class but I politely declined, obviously. I have no idea how anyone would be interested in me anyway" she said shrugging her shoulders while looking at other students who were also outside.

"Hey," Taylor put her hand on Harmony's cheek so she would look at her "You're the most gorgeous, smart and amazing person I know, don't say that. Everybody would be lucky to call you theirs" she smiled at her softly, her words filled with love and purity.

I wish you would call me yours she thought, Harmony's eyes flickered from Taylor's eyes to her lips for a moment. As soon as she realized what she did, she quickly looked up to see the blonde's eyes. She had the most beautiful eyes you'd ever seen. Her blue eyes always reminded Harmony of the sea and quickly became her favorite color.

They continued to talk but after a while Harmony zoned out. Taylor seeing this, gently shook her best friend's arms "Are you okay, love?"

"Uhm, yeah I just.." she was debating whether to tell Taylor what happened during the weekend spent with her father.

It was Saturday's evening. Like always, something must have gone wrong. Weekends with her dad were always..chaotic. He would always find something he didn't like. And he didn't like the fact that his daughter didn't actually liked boys like "she should".

"You're too young to know what's love! You know nothing, you're young and dumb" Harmony looked at her father in disbelief. "I know more than you think!"

"It's just a phase, it'll pass. It'll pass and you're gonna get yourself a good husband and live a good life. Now go to your room" He said, didn't even looking at her. Harmony's eyes became glassy but she quickly made her way to her room so her father wouldn't see how much his words affected her.

The school bell rang ending the conversation they were having. They quickly made their way to classes they were having. During the last class Harmony was getting really bored so she decided that the best idea would be to text Taylor. Who would want to study or even pay attention in class anyway?

A big smile was plastered across Harmony's face as she was texting her best friend. After she came home she cleaned her room, took her dog for walk and did everything she could so the time would pass faster as she was waiting for Taylor.

"Taylor's here!" She heard her mom from downstairs and quickly ran to greet her. They both went to Harmony's room and began to study.

Harmony was finishing writing her assignment while Taylor was drawing stars on her arms. She was currently drawing them on Harmony's wrist, covering the now healed scars.

"I'm clean over five months now" the brown haired girl blurted out of nowhere. "I'm so proud of you, you know that?" Taylor asked with wide smile. Harmony smiled and nodded. The recovery wasn't easy but Taylor made it a hundred times easier.

After they finished they homework and everything related to school Harmony asked:

"Can I do your makeup, Tay? Pretty please" Harmony asked giving her best puppy eyes. Taylor sighed but couldn't say no to that cute face so she just nodded and smiled softly.

"Thank you" the girl's face lit up with big smile as she stood up to grab her makeup bag. Taylor sat on the edge of the bed waiting for her best friend.

"Okay, you're done!" Harmony said after finishing doing Taylor's makeup and smiled widely with that spark in her eyes that Taylor just adored. She loved seeing Harmony happy, it made her happy too.

"Okay let me see" Harmony wanted to get up from Taylor's lap but failed as Taylor put her hand on her thigh so she wouldn't move "Don't move, you don't have to" The blonde girl instructed, grabbing small mirror that was laying on bed. "Really? Black lipstick?" She laughed
"Shut up, you look good!" Harmony blushed trying to look everywhere but into Taylor's eyes.

"Thank you. You did a great job, sweetheart. I love it" she smiled putting the mirror back. Her hands were now on Harmony's thighs "But don't wipe it all off yet pleasee" Harmony whined and Taylor chuckled "Black lipstick will stain everything honey" she shook her head.

"It won't!" Harmony protested. "Do you want to find out?" Taylor asked with mischievous smile "uhm, yes?" She said, unsure of what Tay had planned. The next moment Taylor gave her a kiss on the cheek which was surprising at first but Harmony quickly regained her attitude. She grabbed the mirror to see if it really made a stain. "See, I told you" Harmony chuckled, her eyes flickering from Taylor's eyes to her lips "I think we need to check it again, just to be sure" Taylor said and at that moment she connected their lips in sweet, slow kiss.
