MARRIAGE PROPOSAL

While having snacks, Mrs. Kim kept glancing at her daughter, her eyes filled with a mix of anticipation and worry. Tae noticed and asked, "Mom, what's going on? You look like you have something to say."

Mrs. Kim hesitated, then took a deep breath. "We received a marriage proposal for you."

Tae's eyes widened in surprise. "A proposal? But you know I'm not ready for marriage yet!" Her tone was firm, but curiosity flickered in her eyes. She had made it clear many times that marriage wasn't in her plans, at least not now.

Mrs. Kim's hands shook slightly as she handed Tae a photo. "Just take a look," she said softly.

Tae's breath hitched as she saw the picture. The man was undeniably handsome, with sharp features and a captivating smile. Her cheeks flushed a deep red, and she tried to hide her reaction. "I'll go on a date first, then decide," she said quickly, standing up to leave. But before she could make her escape, Mrs. Kim noticed the telltale blush and the way Tae's eyes lingered on the photo.

Mrs. Kim chuckled, seeing through her daughter's facade. "It's okay, Tae. You can admit he's handsome."

Tae, flustered, stammered, "I-I'll just go get ready," and sprinted to her room, her heart racing.

Mrs. Kim, still amused, picked up the phone to call the matchmaker. "Yes, we’re interested," she said with a smile.

In her room, Tae was a blushing mess, staring at the photo. She was surprised because she had seen him just yesterday and thought he was handsome. Her heart fluttered as she remembered their brief encounter. To share the news, she called her best friend, Jimin.

Jimin arrived within ten minutes since she lived in the same colony. Greeting Mrs. Kim, she got to know about the proposal but the thing is she don't know who is the boy 😏😏and went to Tae's room.

Tae, lying on her stomach and still deep in thought, saw Jimin enter and sprang up. She dragged Jimin to the bed, excitement bubbling over.

"Guess what?" Tae said, her eyes sparkling.

"What?" Jimin replied, curious.

Tae handed her the photo. Jimin's eyes widened in shock. "WTF! This is the guy from yesterday!"

Tae nodded, grinning. "Can you believe it? I thought he was handsome then, and now, here he is as my potential groom!"

They both burst into giggles, reminiscing about their brief sighting of him the day before.

PREVIOUS DAY:
In Company, Afternoon

After a series of meetings, Tae headed to her cabin. She saw Jimin waiting for her to sign some documents. They both went inside, and soon another best friend, Yoonji joined them. These 3 are the childhood friends and not to forget that they are the partner in crime😏😏.

"Hey, boss," Yoonji teased. "Dragging us to work on a Saturday? Not fair."Yonji wined😭😭

Tae laughed. "I know, I know. But I promise to make it up to you."

Jimin, ever the joker, added, "Yeah, she’s taking us to a club tonight. Can you believe it?"

Yoonji's eyes widened. "Seriously? We’re actually going out?" And she turned towards tae and asked with her fake seriousness "Who are you and what have you done with Tae?"

And they all burst out laughing at her statement 🤣🤣🤣

Tae smirked. "We need a change of scene, some fresh air. And I thought, why not?"

They all laughed, the camaraderie lightening the mood.
As they finished the paperwork, their excitement for the night grew.

Although none of them were party girls, they looked forward to the adventure, hoping for some fun and maybe a bit of peace amidst the music and lights.
