Tae and Jimin stared at each other, processing what had just happened. Suddenly, they flinched as Mrs. Kim's voice called out from behind them. Tae's face turned a deeper shade of red, while Jimin wore a teasing smirk.

"Tae, what’s all this giggling about?" Mrs. Kim asked, her curiosity piqued.

Before Tae could respond, Jimin, ever the instigator, chimed in, “Oh, just Tae getting a phone number from a very handsome gentleman.”

Mrs. Kim’s eyes sparkled with interest. “Really? Who might this be?”

Tae, flustered and embarrassed, muttered, “Just a guy I met...”

Jimin laughed, “Not just any guy. Jeon Jungkook, Mom. The CEO of Jeon Company.”

Mrs. Kim’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Well, well, isn’t that interesting.” She paused, then continued with a teasing glint in her eye, “Your handsome CEO wants to meet you, so choose a place and let him know.” She giggled and went downstairs, calling them for lunch.

Tae, now blushing even more, felt her phone buzz. She glanced at the screen and saw a message from Jungkook: "I talked with my parents and asked for the date. Will you go on a date with me?"

She was beyond happy that he asked for her consent. Before she could overthink, she quickly replied, "Ok, I will. What time and place?"

His response came swiftly: "You decide. Are you free tomorrow?"

Tae hesitated, thinking about Monday's busy schedule. She texted back, "Aren't you busy tomorrow since it's Monday?"

Jungkook replied almost instantly, "I might be, but if you are my date, then I can slide my schedule aside."

Tae’s face turned into the color of a ripe tomato, and Jimin, noticing, couldn't help but laugh. Tae typed her response, "I'll let you know the place and time," and turned off her phone, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Jimin laughed loudly, seeing her friend’s flustered state, and started to go downstairs to share the news with Mrs. Kim, with Tae whining and following behind her.

Downstairs, Mrs. Kim was waiting for them. When she saw them running like kids, she just shook her head and mumbled, “These kids.” They all settled down at the dining table. Jimin shared everything with Mrs. Kim, while Tae whined in embarrassment due to the teasing from them.

Mrs. Kim and Jimin teased Tae about how she was not ready for marriage but now seemed to be flirting with the hot CEO, Jeon Jungkook. Amidst the laughter and playful banter, they finished their lunch and decided to watch a movie as the evening approached.

Just as they were settling down, they heard a loud voice, “I’m back!” Tae and Jimin rolled their eyes, recognizing the voice. Mrs. Kim greeted the newcomer, who turned out to be Yoonji.

Tae and Jimin were a bit salty because Yoonji hadn't told them about her date beforehand. However, when Yoonji asked for forgiveness with her adorable puppy eyes, they couldn't stay mad for long.

The three friends started to chat animatedly about everything, with Mrs. Kim sitting to the side, smiling fondly at them. The living room was filled with warmth, laughter, and the deep bond they shared, making the day feel even more special.
