The sound of the police car's siren faded away into the distance as they drove away with Felix in custody
You exhaled heavily, the tension slowly draining away from you
Bangchan turned to you and asked "Are you okay?"
"Im okay, I just didn't expect him to go that far.."
His eyes started scanning over you, looking for any kind of injury "He's gone now, he won't hurt you anymore.."
You nod as he says that "yeah, He's.. Gone now.."
"I just don't understand.." you add
"What?"
"Why he killed Galbatorix, and why Galbatorix. How do they know each other"
"maybe.. He did it to protect you" he said, he knew that you were still upset that Felix wasn't the same. So he tried making things a little better
"That doesn't change the fact he tried to kill you"
"Let's just forget about all of this, all of this Felix, spell book, Galbatorix thing.. Soon it will be all back to normal"
You pause then say hesitantly "it doesn't feel normal without my best friend here.."
Bangchan didn't know what to do, soon he pulled his phone out of his pocket "Wait here" he gave your head a gentle pat then stepped away
When he left, you sat down on your bed, your gaze fixed to the floor. Your mind racing with everything that happened and one question lingered on your mind 'is this really the end?'
Not too long later, bangchan came back and sat down beside you. His eyes fixated on your tired expression "You know.. I'm not the only one worried about you"
"Huh"
"Seungmin said he has to talk to us too"
"Wait a second, is he coming over?"
"Yeah, he's on his way right now. Should be here soon" he replied while you nodded along
After a while there was a knock on the door, bangchan was about to stand up but you stop him "I'll open" you say, every time bangchan opened the door after what happened, you remembered that moment..
He watches as you get off the bed and went to open the door
When you opened the door you saw seungmin standing outside with a worried expression on his face, he stepped forward and pulled you into a tight hug
"Are you okay, after everything with Felix.." He asked, his voice filled with concern
"Yeah, I'm okay. Do you want to come in?" Your expression softened a bit and you pull away from the hug, welcoming him in
"Thanks"
You opened the door wider for him to come in, he walked inside the dorm, looking around and noticing bangchan sat on his bed with a slight frown on his face
He shifted his gaze between you and bangchan. You sat down on your own bed and he took a seat at the edge of your bed
He then broke the silence, his voice gently cutting through the tension
"I need to tell you guys something, it's about Felix.."
Of course it was about Felix, everything was about him at the moment. "What is it?"
"I didn't want to say this before because I was scared Felix would hurt me if I did. But I knew he liked you, for a long time actually. And I don't know if I should say this but.. Felix is the one who killed your aunt.."
Your mouth went dry, struggling to process his words tears started forming in your eyes
"W-what..?"
He spoke up again, hoping to be a little more gentle and careful with his words "D-dont get him wrong! Galbatorix forced him to"
"That would make more sense I guess" you said taking a deep breath, trying not to let your emotions get the best out of you "But.. What is their relationship?"
"Galbatorix is.. Felix's uncle" he said with a hint of wearyness in his voice
"So you're telling me Felix killed his own uncle..?"
"Yeah.."
You let out a shaky exhale, your mind still struggling to process all the information. Everything was already too much and now something else to add on top of it just made it worse. You wanted to change the subject, wanting to divert the conversation from what seungmin had revealed
"Are you guys hungry?" You say, forcing a smile
They both notice your attempt to change the topic and decided to play along with it, bangchan "Yeah, I could go for some food. How about we go out to eat, it's getting a little late to cook"
"Sounds good to me" seungmin agrees
You nod, pushing yourself out of your bed. Them standing up right after you, bangchan opened the door and held it open for you to go, but seungmin stayed behind
He seemed a little distracted, looking at under your bed before bangchan called out to him
"Hey, you coming?"
Seungmin looked at him then at you, he made a quick run to leave the dorm after snapping out of it, waiting for bangchan next to you
The three of you walk out of your house and make your way down the street towards a nearby restaurant
The tension from earlier still hung heavily in the air, but you tried your best to keep up a lighthearted conversation
When the air was calm, seungmin decided to ask you "So, did you find the spell book yet?" He asked looking directly at you
"What? How do you know about that?"
"Felix told me about you being a vampire, and I heard all vampires find the same spell book once they've fallen in love, I might've happened to see it under your bed~ I wonder who it is huh" He said teasingly glancing between you and bangchan
