I hated going to school. I absolutely despised it. There was no reason I would have liked it ever; I have no friends, horrible teachers, bullies, or weird and stupid children attending it. Come to think of it, there wasn't one good reason for me to attend it. But education is important, so I had to go.
I was still in my room, procrastinating even getting up. It was 4 a.m., and I had a habit of waking up early considering that I had to reach school by 6 a.m. My room was fairly nice, filled with vines and greenery. It had a huge window because I loved to watch the sky and the sun. I loved the rain, nature, and clouds. There were five things in this world that I loved.
I eventually got up, went to the bathroom to freshen up and changed into my uniform. I had the habit of bathing with cold water, no matter how cold it was.
The weather always seemed like it was about to rain, and most of the time it did. All this started when I was born, thus the reason I was called a witch.
Despite my protests, I had to go, so I did, and I immediately regretted my decision when I entered. As soon as I entered the premises of hell, I was greeted by people who didn't know what a bath was.
"Hey, stay away from her; she's a witch." "She'll put a curse on you." "I heard she eats children."
There were many rumors about me. As soon as I entered a place, there were whispers everywhere. I had gotten used to it.
"Look, Miss Umbrella is here. Hey witch," said Aspen. He's a bully of mine. loves to make my life hell.
"Shut up aspen before making fun of my name; go and learn the meaning of yours, or you know what I'll tell you, its a tree, just a tree." I snap at him.
"Ooooo, someone's feisty today," said Atlas, Aspen's friend.
"And your name means a book of maps," I tell him, walking away to a place under a tree where I always sat.
"Where are you going, freak?" Aspen teased,
"away from you." I replied,
"Oh, come on now, why are you leaving so soon?" He has the audacity to grab my hand. "Did we offend you?" he said, mocking a sorry look.
"Oh Lord! I have sinned; I offended the witch. Forgive me," Atlas said dramatically behind him, putting his hand on his forehead.
"Let.go.now." I demand, "Or you'll wake up with no hair, no teeth, and no arms." I threaten him. He immediately lets go and goes somewhere else, with Atlas running behind him. "jerks"
I sat there under the tree, reading a book. I was admiring the beauty of peace. Peace is such a simple thing, yet so difficult to find. I wish I had someone to share it with. I tried, and I really did, but everyone was either too scared or thought I was weird. So, I am all alone, always was, still am, and probably will be forever.
"finally! finished this damn book," I say to myself, getting up "right on time for class too." I go inside and visit all my lectures for the day, not even feeling tired.
"I hope it rains today." I say, walking home.
It was a regular day at school, and everything was fine—that was until my walk home. I had to take another route to my house. I ended up lost, got dirty water splashed on me, got the wrong order at a café, burned my tongue, and reached home 1 hour later than usual. When I did, I was greeted with half of my house turned upside down by what I thought was an intruder, instead of a black cat sleeping on my bed. All in all, it was a great day. At least I have a cat.
wow. Controlling the weather, born on November 11 at 11:11 pm, lives in the woods with black hair, black eyes, and now a black cat—damn, really embracing the witch title.
