Maila sat alone in the dimly lit room, her heart pounding as she tried to formulate a plan. She reached up and turned off the mic hidden in her shirt, making sure no one could hear her conversation. She needed answers, and she needed them now.

Dominic entered the room, his presence heavy and intimidating. He regarded her with a mix of suspicion and curiosity.

"So, what’s on your mind ?" Dominic asked, his tone mocking.

Maila took a deep breath, steeling herself. "I want to know the plan for when they get here."

Dominic raised an eyebrow. "Why so interested?"

Maila leaned forward, her eyes narrowing. "No one knows I’m your daughter. That gives us an advantage."

Dominic smirked, clearly pleased. "Exactly. It makes everything more convincing. You play the role of the helpless victim, and when the time is right, we strike."

Maila’s knew what must be done. "Do you want him dead or not?"

Dominic’s face darkened, his eyes cold. "Yes, I want him dead. His mother thought I was bluffing when I said I'd kill her and her son. I need you to finish the job at the drop-off location."

Maila nodded, "Consider it done."

Dominic leaned back, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. "Good. Now get some rest. We have a big day ahead of us."

Armando stood face to face with his father, Mike Lowrey, in the Miami police station. The tension crackled between them like static electricity.

"Armando, what the hell were you thinking?" Mike's voice boomed through the room, echoing off the walls.

Armando clenched his fists, trying to contain his anger. "You used Maila as bait? Are you insane?"

Mike's expression hardened. "We needed to draw Dominic out. Maila agreed to help."

Armando scoffed. "She agreed because she had no choice! You put her life at risk!"

Marcus, who had been standing nearby, stepped in, trying to defuse the situation. "Hey, come on now, let’s not blow a fuse here. We’ve got bigger fish to fry."

Armando turned to Marcus, frustration evident in his voice. "This isn’t a joke, Marcus. Maila’s in danger because of your damn plan."

Marcus held up his hands defensively. "Hey, I didn’t know Mike was gonna use her like that. We were just trying to take down Dominic."

Armando shook his head, pacing back and forth. "Well, congratulations. Now Maila’s in Dominic’s clutches, and we have no idea where she is."

Mike sighed heavily, rubbing his temples. "Look, I’m sorry, Armando. I thought I could handle this."

Armando threw his hands up in exasperation. "Handle this? You put her life on the line!"

Marcus, ever the peacemaker, tried to inject some levity into the tense situation. "Alright, alright, let’s not all lose our cool. Maybe we can still salvage this mess."

Armando shot Marcus a glare but softened slightly. "Fine, but we need to find a way to track down Maila before Dominic does something irreversible."

Just then, an officer rushed into the room with urgent news. "We’ve got a lead on Maila’s location. Dominic’s been spotted at a warehouse downtown."

Armando’s eyes narrowed with determination. "Let’s go. We don’t have time to waste."

As they hurried out of the station, Marcus muttered under his breath, "Next time, let’s stick to simpler plans. Like catching jaywalkers."

Mike chuckled despite the seriousness of the situation. "Yeah, maybe that’s a better idea."
