For this chapter, I thought I would share some of my favorite types if art. Some you may not have even known exist. Hopefully this opens up your artistic mind to new creative ideas!
Spray paint street artists.
Some of you are instantly thinking of graffiti, but you are wrong! This is not like that. I remember walking down the street of an area I have never been to and coming across a man sitting on the ground wearing a mask. The mask creeped me out beyond belief (the mask is used to protect him from harmful fumes and chemicals the spray paint gives off), but I still stuck around to see what he was creating. Set up around him were cans of spray paint, and he would pick up one of them and just fluently spray the canvas on the ground.
At first, I was disappointed, it didn't look like anything a true artist would create. Boy was I wrong. By the time he had finished, it was the most amazing thing I had ever laid eyes on!!!!
In the end I bought the picture :) it's up in the media!! That man inspired me, and this summer I'm going to be doing that :) it'll be fun!!
