Summary

In the matter of minutes, Emma Rider became three things: jobless, homeless, and moneyless.

After losing her job as an assistant at a law firm and being late on her monthly apartment rents, Emma loses her job and home. If that isn't bad enough, Emma faces the shocking discovery that all of her life's savings have gone down the drain.

Things only take a twist for the worst when her cunning boss and ex boyfriend, Ian Adams, offers Emma to become his maid, in exchange that she would get paid and have a place to stay.

Despite her wishes, Emma ends up becoming Ian's maid. While working for him, Emma goes through a repeat of love, hate, betrayal, and Emma remembers exactly why she left Ian. However, through all of this, Emma learns that even the worst of people aren't as bad as they may seem and that everyone deserves a second chance.
