The Djommir

Also known as the remnants. What little that is known of them, nearly all can agree that they are billions of years old. Transparent beings made out of pure aura. Human eyes would perceive them in a variety of different colors. Somehow it is believed that the kind of person you are affects how you interpret these beings. Other species also perceive them to appear similar to their own species. The Djommir are extremely advanced technologically. Same can be said about their morals and mental abilities. These beings simply do not operate along the notions of right or wrong. Mere calculations seem to drive their actions. Although often their actions can be viewed as a lack of morality to the human observer. Their ancestors stepped out of this plane of existence and onto a higher dimension as pure consciousness. Recognized as an apex species acting as guides for beings and species on this plane of existence. The majority of these creatures, if they can still be called that, are completely benevolent. A few fringe members of this species however, returned to our plane of existence with a profound madness. Presumably as a result of whatever they saw or brought back with them from the other side. Leading them to disrupt the order of things wherever and whenever they can. The remnants communicate to other races using cryptic messages. Words rearranged from normal speech into an esoteric almost poetic form of speech and sound. Which reflects the divide in thinking capacity between beings from a higher plane of existence and our own. Wherever their madness is found however, this madness is transferred empathically to any life that they happen upon in their universal travels, presumably without their knowledge. Sometimes resulting in a disorder of society. Their behavior is a mystery, sometimes, madness or not, they attack cities or warp citizens. Seemingly all this is done without any discernible pattern and seemingly without warning or prejudice.

Vextaltian Empire

A superintelligent society more than a million years old. Aquatic creatures that look like a shark mixed with a jellyfish. Often travels in armored exoskeleton to protect and support their fragile bodies. The armor is a combination of biological and mechanical structure. Their species originates from a nitrogen gas ocean planet called Andrall. Their suits and other technology allows them to leave and travel to other various worlds. The aim it seems is to travel in their starships spreading their culture and technology amongst the races of the galaxy, in exchange for the planet's subjugation. They do not view themselves as a world conquering or warmongering race. Since the planets they set out to adapt are only ones who have shown themselves as willing to accept interspecies integration. With an offer of free energy and seemingly limitless technology. With apparently no trade off other than to become part of the empire, very few seem to pass up the offer. Although with their vast power and influence, one must wonder, if any society did object to the offer, would anyone ever really know about it? Being several billion in number, they are still considered to be spread relatively thin amongst the universe. Especially when they begin their spreading into parallel universes as well. In the more recent millenniums therefore, they have adapted a more cautionary covert strategy. When encountering new species, instead of issuing an ultimatum, they covertly infiltrate. Exercising caution and care when dealing with potential additions to their empire.

Yravish

Known also as the controllers. Seemingly ageless. Existing outside of time in any case. Appearing as tall skeletal robotic droids, in cowls, pulsating in electrodes. Not much is actually known about them. They may be alive or dead. They could be conscious or lacking consciousness. It is rumored that they exist in between 3 to up to 11 dimensions. Perhaps even on a bizarre 2nd dimension. Some believe they even caused life to begin using unknown pseudoscience. Vextaltian records indicate that there are actually a handful or less in existence. But appear to be more since the few that remain can exist in multiple points in space and time simultaneously. When multiple controllers appear therefore, it could actually be the same controller visiting from different points in time.
