Danny broke the silence, his voice a soft whisper. "Guess...we should say goodbye soon, huh?

Y/n glanced up at Danny, feeling a pang of disappointment at the thought of parting ways. Not wanting to say goodbye just yet, they decided to risk one more question.

"Danny," they began, their voice soft, "do you... do you live in the dorms?"

Danny seemed surprised by the question, as if he hadn't expected it. He looked down at them, considering their question for a moment.

"Yeah," he finally responded, "I do live in the dorms. On the fourth floor, room 405. Why do you ask?"

Y/n felt their heart skip a beat at his answer. Room 405... that meant he was right down the hall from them. They felt a strange mix of excitement and nervousness.

Swallowing hard, they tried to keep their voice casual. "Just...curious."

Danny raised an eyebrow at their vague response. "Curious, huh?" he repeated, his tone slightly teasing.

Y/n blushed under his gaze, realizing their attempt at nonchalance had failed. "Y-yeah," they muttered, looking away.

Danny chuckled softly, clearly amused by their reaction. "You're not very subtle, you know," he commented lightly, his eyes sparkling with humor.

Y/n felt their face grow hotter at being called out. They were clearly not good at being subtle. "I... I just..." they began, trying to come up with an excuse or explanation. But they had nothing.

Danny smiled at their flustered state, obviously finding it endearing. "It's okay," he reassured them, his voice gentle. "It's actually...kind of cute."

Y/n didn't know what to say. They were blushing furiously now, torn between feeling embarrassed and flattered. "Cute?" they repeated, their voice squeakier than they intended.

Danny chuckled again, giving their hand a gentle squeeze. "Yeah," he confirmed, his tone light. "It's cute how you're trying to play it cool, but you're not really succeeding."

Y/n huffed, feeling both flustered and slightly annoyed at his casual tease. "I can be cool," they protested, their voice filled with feigned irritation.

Danny raised an eyebrow, his smirk growing wider. "Oh, really?" he challenged, clearly enjoying their reaction. "How about we test that theory?"

"Fine," they agreed, their tone defiant. "Test me."

Danny's smirk grew into a full smile, amused by their determination. "Alright," he said, his voice filled with playful confidence. "Let's test this 'cool' you claim to have."

Y/n took a deep breath, steeling themselves for whatever test he had in store. "What's the test, then?" they asked, trying to keep their voice steady.

Danny considered them for a moment, then his eyes lit up with an idea. "Follow me," he said simply, turning and starting to walk toward the dormitory building.

Y/n felt a flutter of nervousness in their stomach at his words. They followed obediently, curiosity and trepidation warring in their mind.

Danny said nothing as he led them through the halls of the dormitory, his steps sure and confident. Finally, he stopped in front of a door marked '405'.

"Are we... here for a reason?" y/n asked, confused. The nervous fluttering in their stomach intensified.

Danny smiled at them, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief. "Just... wait here for a minute," he instructed, and before y/n could respond, he disappeared inside his room.

y/n stood in the hallway, feeling a bit lost. They fidgeted nervously, wondering what the hell was going on.

After a few minutes, Danny reappeared in the doorway, a sly smile on his face. "You still think you're cool?" he asked, his tone teasing.

Y/n took a deep breath, trying to regain their composure. "Of course I do," they retorted, their voice only mildly shaky.

Danny chuckled, clearly enjoying this little game he had created. He stepped closer to them, his proximity causing y/n's heart to race.

"We'll see about that," he murmured, his voice low. "Come inside a second."

Y/n was thrown off by his request. "Inside?" they repeated, their voice rising an octave. They glanced nervously around, unsure.

Danny noticed their hesitation and smirked. "Don't worry," he assured them, "I won't bite... unless you ask nicely."

A/N: YES DANNY, BECAUSe WHY? BECAUSE OF ✨consent✨

y/n swallowed hard, their heart thudding against their chest. Danny's words were simultaneously reassuring and intimidating. But curiosity and a hint of excitement won out.

With a shaky breath, they nodded slightly. "O-okay," they managed to say.

Danny's smile widened, and he held the door open for them, inviting them into his room

y/n stepped inside, feeling a sudden wave of nerves. Danny's room was neat and tidy, a few personal touches giving it a cozy feel. But y/n didn't have much time to look around as Danny stepped in behind them and closed the door, the click of the lock sending a shiver down their spine.

"So..." he began, leaning against the door, his eyes fixed on them. "Still feeling cool?"

y/n was acutely aware of the fact that they were alone in his room with him. Their heart was racing, their palms sweating. But they tried to summon up their earlier bravado. "Of course," they replied, though their voice was a little bit shaky. "Why wouldn't I be?"

Danny chuckled at their attempt at bravado, seeing through their facade easily. "Right," he drawled, taking a step towards them. His gaze was focused intently on them, his expression a mixture of amusement and something else they couldn't quite place. "You're the epitome of cool right now, huh? No nerves, no butterflies?"

Y/n gulped, feeling the heat of his gaze on them. His proximity was making it hard for them to breathe, and the butterflies in their stomach had turned into a full-blown storm. They tried to keep their voice steady, but it was difficult. "Of course not," they responded weakly. "I'm completely cool and calm."

Danny's smirk widened at their attempt to feign indifference. He took another step closer, now standing right in front of them.
