Example of my work to give an idea.

[Oneshots will generally be longer than this, especially if I like developing the idea, but this is just an example of my work ]

Weaving between the daycare play places and small cracks, a tuxedo pelt slips in and out of sight, followed by a much less concealed tabby cat.
While the felines were completely unaffected by the current darkness shrouding their home, the tabby was specifically worried about their owners.
The two people who had caused their owner to disappear were in the clearing. The one with crimson spiraling eyes and a murderous gaze scared them the most.
He had tried to capture the two cats, spitting out unrecognizable words and shortly threw a tantrum after not being able to capture them.
The tuxedo beckons them with their tail- Follow me.
The tabby obeys, and the tuxedo's ears perk, tail swishing as the two come across the capped individual who looked like a mixture of their owners.
The tuxedo feline rushes past the individual, followed by the tabby as the animatronic hisses after them. Spitting unintelligible human language at them.
Thankfully, the animatronic didn't give chase, and the two easily navigated themselves out of the daycare.
As they enter a strange room, filled with dancing lights and strange, transparent animatronics, they suddenly pick up the scent of something delectable.
As it reaches the tabby's nostrils, it immediately speeds past the tuxedo cat and springs onto the table.
Pizza!
The tuxedo leaps after the tabby and they both begin to chow down. Food hadn't been left out for them since the daycare had gone dark, so they had to scavenge.
As the two finish filling themselves, locking their chops, they decide to return to the daycare to await their owners.
They would probably be back tomorrow.
