Kai has been ignoring my every move around the palace. Even the ninja I've tasked with surveillance refuse to give me reports; they go straight to Wu. It's as if I don't exist... it shouldn't hurt me this much, but somehow it does.

With determination, I resolved to find a lead on the leader. I need to find this main leader. Apparently, he is darkness. I don't know many darkness entities, but maybe Wu will.

I walked calmly over to Wu, my expression steeling as I approached. "Do you know of any Dark villains?"

Wu glanced up, his eyes holding a soft concern as a faint smile touched his lips. "Good morning to you too, Y/n," he greeted gently.

I sighed inwardly, giving him a curt nod. "Yes, good morning. Now, back to my question."

"I've got a few suspects," Wu replied, his tone serious and intent. "My primary suspect goes by the name of the Overlord."

"Overlord," I repeated, the name resonating with an unsettling familiarity. I leaned closer to Master Wu, my voice low and sharp. "What do we know about this Overlord?"

Wu's expression turned grave as he folded his hands in front of him. "The Overlord is an ancient evil, a malevolent force that thrives on darkness and chaos. Long ago, he sought to plunge Ninjago into eternal night, but he was defeated and supposedly sealed away."

My mind raced, connecting the dots swiftly. "If the Overlord has returned, then why hasn't there been any warning? Any sign of his resurgence?"

Wu shook his head slowly, his gaze distant as if recalling memories buried deep within the past. "Darkness has a way of hiding itself, sometimes even from those who are vigilant. It's possible that the Overlord has found a new method, a new ally, or perhaps he has been dormant, gathering strength in the shadows."

I clenched my fists, frustration and determination fueling my next question. "Then we must act swiftly. I need to know everything about the Overlord, his allies, and how we can stop him."

Wu nodded in agreement, his expression firm. "I will gather the other ninjas. We will start our search immediately. But Y/n, remember, facing darkness requires not just strength, but also clarity of mind. Do not let anger or fear cloud your judgment."

I met Wu's gaze with steely resolve. "I won't."

Carefully, I descended into the depths of the dungeons beneath the palace. The air grew colder and heavier with each step, echoing the weight of our impending confrontation with the Overlord. Pythor, once a notorious Serpentine general, now resided in a cell designed to contain even the most formidable adversaries.

The cell was dimly lit, casting long shadows that danced across the stone walls. As I approached, the sound of my footsteps seemed unnaturally loud in the silence of the dungeon. Pythor, reclined against the far wall, turned his head slowly to regard me with a mixture of curiosity and wariness.

"Ninja," he greeted with a smirk that held a hint of unease beneath its surface. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

Ignoring his attempt at humor, I stopped a few paces away from the cell bars, my gaze steady and unwavering. "We need to talk about the Overlord."

Pythor's smirk faltered momentarily, replaced by a calculating look as he assessed my demeanor. "The Overlord?" he echoed, his voice laced with skepticism. "That's old news, my dear. What makes you think I would share anything with you?"
