Me and cubo reached the cafe and saw Chay sitting with a milkshake and a lot of desserts on the table and I knew 2 things for sure.
1. Her trust is completely broken
2. She isn't going to believe us without the complete truth along with proof.
This sucks! But I can finally stop laying with one of my best friends.
I looked at Cubo and he was also looking at me so I said
"Get both of our files out I'll go call the PM"
He nodded and opened his tablet putting in the million passwords I put on our files in Tandav to keep our identity hidden and I opened my special phone I use to call important people and called the PM's personal number and turned to see Chay and see her on a call before I can think about it my ring was answered with a very happy PM
"Hi Kalki! I heard you killed the men responsible for my man's hospitalization. Can I get the details of them ?"
I used my mafia voice "Later. But before that I need you to inform someone of our deal."
"But you made me sign the NDA?" He asked in confusion.
"Which stated I will choose you know about our deal that is I protect the country and its men in return no one messes with the Tandav and now I need you to tell about our deal to one of your people" I said
"Ok. Who?"
"Chaithra Agarwal" I said
"My defence minister? May I know why?"
"She saw me killing those men and thinks I was covering my tracks and I don't want the DM of the country thinking of me as the criminal" I lied easily
"Ok, I'll call her immediately" with that he hung up and I returned to see not just chay but also Shailu at the table and they both were arguing so I started walking to them and felt cubo fall in step with me.
I heard the last line of fight it looks like Shailu doesn't believe Chay and thinks Chay is mistaken so I pulled the chair and sat down while saying "I am involved in Mafia Shailu, believe Chay"
They both looked at me and they looked heart broken so I put down the 2 tablets on the table one had my file another had Cubo's they state the day we joined, our position, how many we rescue and how many we killed. I waited for them to read it over and after 20 minutes they seem to have finally read through our files I was about to say my story when Chay's office phone buzzed and it read PMO
"Put it on speaker Chay" I said in a soft voice
And she did with a scared look on her face which broke my heart.
"Hi Chairtra, I need to tell you something and before I get into it you will have to sign an NDA and swear on our country to never let this secret out" it was the PM
"Just get to the point I'll have her sign it later" I said impatiently both Chay and Bob were looking at me shocked at I'm speaking to the PM like that.
"Hey you are with her? Shit sorry I took soo much time Chaitra wasn't answering her personal phone and tell me get to the point. Miss Defence minister the person in front of you is Kalki the leader of Tandav and we the government have an exclusive deal with Tandav. They protect us from inner and outer threats and we don't meddle with their ways, but if they do something that harm any single on of our citizens with a proper explanation they will ALL surrender and are punishable to hanging so if they did something wrong tell me and don't get involved in their way of working. Ok Chaitra?"
Chay just nodded unable to say a single word so I picked the phone and said "She got it now hang up and delete her personal number" he said yes and hung up.
"I know I should not have kept this from you but think about it, what if finding out the truth had hurt you both? I would never risk it I'm sorry not for protecting you. I understand if you don't ever want to see me again but I'm trusting you guys to keep the Identity of Kalki hidden and Cubo was forced to hide his identity because of me so I'm the only one to blame here" I said and got up to leave but I stop cause something or someone caught my hand. "Chay?"
"I understand why you kept this from me but now I want to know everything will you trust me with that?" She asked
"I too understand but I DON'T want to know everything so but I want to treat you anytime you or Cubo get hurt from now ok?" Shailu said
"Yes to both of you. Now let's get back to the hotel and promise me Nihal never finds out ok?" I said and the both agreed and Cubo just hugged his sister. We left to hotel me and Shailu on my bike and they both on the other bike and for the first time in a long time I felt like the pressure on my heart has reduced and I wanted something I haven't wanted in a long time a kiss from the man I love.
