Past: born as the youngest son within the Kocho household, living alongside his mother, father, and older brother Kanae Kocho.
He was raised in a loving and caring household, until his parents were slaughtered by demons right before his and his brothers eyes.
Kanae was the previous Flower Hashira, however, he was slain years prior to Tanjiro meeting Shinobu. Kanae however lives on and also practices Flower Breathing like their older brother.
