I messed up. I know I messed up big time. Those thoughts echoed in my mind like a broken record as I sat on my bed, tears streaming down my cheeks. The argument with Kai replayed in my head, and I felt an ache in my chest that I couldn't shake off. Why had I thought juggling both plans was a good idea?
After the amusement park, I had gone home feeling lost. I curled up under my blanket, trying to suppress the guilt that consumed me. I didn't even realize my phone buzzed until a message from Ethan caught my eye.
