"Hey.. Im detective Naomasa Tsukauchi I just have a few questions for you Emiko." He sat down across from the girl pulling out a recorder and setting it on the table. This was going to be an even longer night.

"Okay Emiko I'm going to ask you a few questions, and I need you to answer truthfully." Naomasa looked at the girl that was seated across from him. 'I don't want to seem intimidating so ill start off nice' He thought to himself, the girl was pretty shaken up so he didn't want to mess that up. "I hope you understand this case is very.." 'confusing, disturbing' "...important right now." He finished not letting his thoughts come out, But Emiko on the other hand she just stared at him, he didn't know about her quirk.. she knew that much, but she was also scared. What kind of mentally deranged villain wants to play hide and seek.

"Yes.. I.. I understand detective.." Emiko's hands dropped down to her side and she sat up straight, if anyone was going to help her it would be this detective and the man that found her, hawks. Let the questions begin.

"What's your name?"

"Emiko Yoru.."

"When were you born?"

"April 26th.."

"What is your quirk?"

"..." It was now silent, she took a deep breath. "Illusions."

"Is that your only quirk, Emiko?"

"Yes-" BUZZ. 'What was that, a buzzer?' Emiko didn't see a lie detector around her, but that's because it wasn't around her, or in her. It was right in front of her, the buzz didn't come from the room it was inside of Naomasa Tsukauchi's head.

"Emiko, I need you to be honest with me. Is that your only quirk."

"No..no It's not." She looked at the man in front of her, her eyes were wavering back and forth.

He nodded his head the only movement he made until he sat up straight, he turned his head to the side looking out the glass window where he had made hawks wait at. Then turned back to his first priority. "Now Emiko things are about to get a little more harder, remember I need the full truth."

"Yes sir... I understand."

"What do you remember about the day you were kidnapped."

"I was talking to my friends.. Nyxiee and Marlyn, I showed them my quirk and then we talked until their parents got there."

"Do you guys wanna see my quirk! I havent showed you both yet!" Emi said not knowing there was a man watching her and her friends.

"Woah you got your quirk Emi? Let us see!" Nyxxie said her eyes sparkling.

"Yeah emi! Let us see!" Marlyn said nodded agreeing with Nyxxie.

Emiko used her illusion quirk showing her two friends a picture of a pony, the illusion flickered after a few seconds, while Emiko gave both of her friends a toothy smile, not knowing of the man watching her.

"THAT WAS SO COOL EMI!" Both girls said as their eyes widened.

"Thank you guys!-" Emiko was cut off by a horn being blown. The girls mother had arrived....

"After they left I started walking back to the orphanage which I called home.. and it was getting darker so i started walking faster thats when I saw car lights but I thought nothing of it, but then the car slowed down and he asked if I needed a ride home..."

''Hey kid, it's getting dark out, do you need a ride home?" the man said to the little girl with much more darker intentions than on the surface.

"But I said no because I was close to the o-orphanage..  but I didn't get to finish my sentence because he grabbed me and covered my face with some type of cloth."

"No thank you im almost home actu-" she was cut off my the man grabbed her putting a cloth around her face.

"After that my mind went blank.." Emiko's eyes were now teared up, one tear fell down her cheek but she quickly swiped it away, She saw Naomasa looking at her slowly nodding his head.

'This girl has been through so much, but I need answers.. where could she have been for 5 years?' The question ran through his mind over and over. Emiko knew she had to answer it soon and so she did.

"When I woke up my hands were chained to this wall, and this.. man he came in... and he asked for my name?... so I told him.. and thats when he said we were going to have some fun...?"

"My name.. i-its.." The static in her ears only grew louder, her head pounding and her heart racing... "𝐸𝑚𝑖𝑘𝑜 𝑌𝑜𝑟𝑢..."

"Well Emiko, lets have some fun." Shigaraki's red eyes glowed in the darkness of the room that trapped Emiko against her will.

"Alright Emiko, thats all you have to say.." Detective Naomasa could see the panic on her face, he got up and crouched down next to her rubbing her shoulder. "Im going to help you, but you need to calm down so, ill bring you back in maybe a week or two from now so you can get settled down." He got up and went over to the door.

"W-wait! I don't.. have a home.. who will I stay with-" Just then the door opened, it was the man who found her.

"You'll be staying with me kid." Hawks smiled as he walked over to the girl. "If that's okay with you?" He cared about this kid, and everyone could see it. 'I have to protect you Emiko.' He remembered she could read mind so instead of saying it out loud, he said it in his head. Where only she could hear him. 'Please let me protect you.'

"Yes.. it's okay, I'll go home with you" She wrapped her arms around the man in front of her careful not to touch his wings as he felt her hug back.

'Thank you for trusting me kid, ill do my best to protect you no matter what.' Hawks felt tears coming from the girl and he held her making sure she knows how safe she is with him.

Back with the LOV..

"Shiggy why did you let her go?" Toga asked a small frown on her face as the sat on the couch. "Her blood was so pretty!" Shigaraki had just walked out of the cell as he made his way to the bar.

"I didn't completely let her go, I just gave her a bit of freedom." So Shigaraki explained his plan to the group.

"So you let her go so that she could train but also live in fear under your control? THAT'S SO SMART! No it isn't its a dumb plan that wolnt work." Twice added.

"Nice going Shigaraki, but do you really think this plan is going to work? Do you really think you'll be able to take Fallen Angel  away from her?" Dabi shrugged getting up from his seat.

"I don't think it's going to work. I know it." Shigaraki's eyes glowed red, he was going to win this game and take her quirk while he's at it.

Hawks and Emiko made there way to the front door as Hawks looked at the sleeping girl in his arms, he felt bad for her not just because of the trauma that was now built into her head, but she missed multiple points in her life. Like birthdays, Christmas the holidays that made childhood exciting. 'I'll give you the life you deserve..starting with school..' Hawks set Emiko in one of the guest rooms and tucked her in. After he left the room he picked up his phone dialing a number . "Hey.. has one filled the spot in class 1-A yet?... No?... Okay I think I found someone to fill it, I'll bring her in when she's settled down." Hawks hung up the phone and went to his room, his night was now coming to an end, he now had a duty, to protect Emiko even during his last breaths
