Previously on Hide and Seek..

"No it's okay.. I need to do this.." Emiko looked at Kirishima who had his head down, "I want you guys to trust me.. so its time you guys know The truth."

.........

"Listen guys.. if you want to stop being my friend after I tell you guys this.. I understand if you dont want to be my friend anymore." Emiko looked down then sighed, the common room was silent everyone waited for Emiko to tell her story. All eyes on her.

..........

"When I was younger... I uh, got kidnapped." Emiko's eyes wandered the room, searching for some expression, and her gaze locked on Kirishima. "I was kidnapped by the League of Villains, and they experimented on me..."

"My sweet Emiko... are you ready for your next test?" The voice echoed in her mind, chilling her to the core.

Emiko closed her eyes and leaned back on Mina's shoulder. Part of Emiko's mind-reading quirk allowed her to project her thoughts and memories onto others, and that's exactly what she did.

"Guys, are you seeing—" Denki started, but was quickly shushed by everyone.

The room went silent as the vivid memory unfolded before their eyes. They saw a younger Emiko, bound and terrified, in a dark, cold room. The League of Villains surrounded her, their faces masked and menacing. One of them approached with a syringe filled with a glowing substance.

"Don't worry, this will only hurt a little," the villain sneered as he injected her. Emiko's screams echoed in the room, and everyone watching felt a shiver run down their spines.

Back in the present, Emiko's breathing was ragged. "They wanted to enhance my quirk, to make me a weapon," she whispered. "But one day.. Shigaraki came in, and he-..he asked if I wanted to play a game.." Emiko's body trembled which Mina and both Jirou noticed and that made her calm down a little.

"Why are you here, you mask freak." I mean sure it was harsh but he WAS a mask freak, I knew how much i'd regret my words seeing those scarred red eyes staring at me, I could feel the stupid grin on his face.

"I just wanted to make a little.. deal with you, but maybe not." His scratchy voice replied, as he turned and walked to the door.

"W-Wait what kind of.. deal?" I couldn't read his mind, it was just static and thats how I knew he was getting closer to me, the only way I knew was because of some fucking static. I saw him turn around and step to me, his hand raised my chin up at him keeping that one pinkie finger up making sure not to touch me. I saw his quirk once and it was enough to send shivers down my spine.

He let out a low chuckled..his voice always scared me, "You've heard of hide and seek right.. well that's what were going to play.." Is he fucking joking? Hide and Seek? "but with a twist, if you win, you get to kill me.. and if I win, I get to kill you..." he's joking right, but by the look in  those twisted eyes of his that pierced my skin just but looking at it... He wasn't joking. "youre the hider.. and im the seeker." I felt the chains that held me up snap  and turn to dust, he let my face go, his red eyes paying attention to my every move, truth is my body was trembling. "1....2....3..." He was counting. I rushed to my feet pushing past him and out of my cell that kept me away for so long, I ran past a area with a group of people their eyes concentrated on me....

Mina held her tighter, tears welling up in her eyes. "You're safe now, Emiko. We're here for you."

Kirishima clenched his fists, his face a mix of anger and determination. "We won't let them hurt you again. We'll protect you, no matter what."

The memories faded, but the weight of Emiko's past hung heavily in the air. The room was filled with a newfound resolve to stand by their friend, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

...........

Everyone but Emiko and Kirishima left the common room. Since they didn't want Emiko to feel alone, they said Kirishima would stay with her.

"Listen Emi... You know I don't see you any different, right? You're still the beautiful and most thoughtful girl I've ever seen." Kirishima held Emiko's hand as he got closer to her, his hand wiping the tears that fell from her eyes. Emiko felt the tension between the two of them build up.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier... I feel guilty about not telling you..." Emiko looked at Kirishima as their eyes connected.

"Don't apologize, Emi... I'm just glad you told us." Kirishima's thumb wiped all her tears away as he closed the distance between the two of them, their lips finding each other's as they shared a soft kiss that felt like it lasted forever.

After what seemed like an eternity, they slowly pulled away, their foreheads resting against each other. Emiko's heart raced, not just from the kiss, but from the overwhelming relief of having someone who truly understood her. Kirishima's eyes were filled with warmth and sincerity, giving her the strength she needed.

"You don't have to carry this burden alone anymore, Emi. We're all here for you," Kirishima whispered, his voice filled with conviction. Emiko nodded, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders.

"I was so scared... scared that you'd see me differently, that you'd push me away," Emiko confessed, her voice trembling. Kirishima shook his head gently, his grip on her hand tightening.

"Never, Emi. You're stronger than you know, and we'll face everything together you aren't alone now.. you have us.. and you have Hawks," he reassured her. They sat there in the quiet room, the bond between them growing stronger with each passing moment. The future was uncertain, but with Kirishima by her side, Emiko felt ready to face whatever came next.
