UMEMIYA HAJIME X OC

Chapter 10

 Red night was the night that you weren't proud of. It was the day you broke your promise to Umemiya and the day you had hurt him. It was just a normal day for you where you were out on patrol. Even though weren't officially a member of Bofurin, you would still head out. You were supposed to be with Umemiya but he was with another team and thinking that there won't of a problem you thought you could handle it yourself. 

As you patrolled around town, in a hidden alley you saw gangsters hanging out while smoking. Thankfully you were able to push them away although it wasn't easy. After that you continued on until it was already late in the afternoon when you decided to go to Bofurin's base. You looked around trying to find Umemiya when you saw Hiragi looking worried and in a hurry when he bumped into you. Helping you up he apologized "What's going on?" you asked patting the dust away from your clothes when Hiragi's next words shocked you "Umemiya's missing." 

Hearing those words you immediately helped to look for him until it was already night time until you reached a warehouse outside of your area. There you saw a group of people surrounding someone until you saw a certain white hair in the middle. You went around closer to the group and saw Umemiya all beat up while there were kids and two girls behind him. 

"Looks like you're out of luck Bofurin! I told you not to poke your nose in somebody else's business. Should've listened then!" one man yelled about to hit Umemiya only for you to show up kicking him right in the face. "Akira!" Umemiya yelled in surprise making you smirk at him. "Leave this to me Hajime-san" you said making him smile "As if I would." he said as you two tried to fight them off. Seeing that you were beginning to get tired and a few hits landing on you. Umemiya tried to tell you stop for a bit but feeling confident you ignored his words. You failed to notice a man holding a bat and was about to hit you when Umemiya called to you pushing you away as he was the one hit by the bat. 

With you on the ground you saw Umemiya unconscious bleeding while the gangsters kit him hard laughing at him. Your heart beat started speeding up as rage filled inside you "H-Hajime" you softly muttered trying to wake him up but there's was no response. You continued to call out his name shaking him but still nothing as tears started to flow down your face. "HAHAHAHA the brat's dead. He deserved it for minding someone else's business" the man said as you stood up. 

"Whatcha gonna do you weird chic? Look at you and your weird eyes and hair. What a freak. HAHAHAHAH" the men laughed as you slowly took a step towards them glaring at them  as your golden eyes were looking like it glowed sending shivers down their spine. With a grin you looked at them before swiftly ending them. 

Hiragi and the others finally arrived at the said location but as soon they arrived, what they saw was a complete massacre. With you moving swiftly and so fast, your kicks looking like whips creating a strong gust of wind as blood was all over your body staining you white hair in red filling the warehouse cries of pain and laugh of enjoyment. Finally taking the last man down you laughed harder maniacally. 

Hiragi and the others could barely move but seeing Umemiya on the floor they went straight to him only for you to block their way. "No one can hurt him anymore!!" you yelled as you started to attack the members of Bofurin until they wee all down except for Hiragi who was all beat p but still standing. "Snap out of it Akira!! It's me Hiragi!" he yelled evading your kicks. "Urusai! You all want to hurt Hajime-san! This time I'll stop you!" you yelled attacking him sore more. Seeing your situation and the unconscious Umemiya, he realized that the reason for your rampage was most probably because of what happened to Umemiya. 

He knew how much you cared for the guy so he couldn't blame you which is why he wants to help you snap out of it. But he could only take so much, he was surprised by your strength and he doesn't have anyone who can help him. Just as you were about to land your final blow with an axe kick someone suddenly caught your legs stopping it just before it hit them. 

In your vision all you could see was white, but rage filling your eyes you didn't realize who it was as you continued to attack them only for them to catch you wrapping you in a hug. You tried to break free until you heard a voice "Akira. It's me Hajime, it's okay now." he said softly stopping your movements. You looked at the man in front of you , memories of a smiling face filled you thoughts until it started to blur as tears ran down your face finally clearing up. It was Umemiya who was holding you all this time, he wasn't dead. "H-H-Hajime!!" you continued to repeatedly call his name hugging him tight crying your heart out as more tears flowed down your face. 

Umemiya also hugged you tight rubbing your back softly trying to calm you down until your knees gave up pulling you both down to seat in the floor. After a while you cries died down as you leaned more onto him hiding your face to his neck. Feeling your slow breathes, Umemiya finally sighed a breathe of relief slumping down properly onto the ground holding you. 

"Umemiya, what happened?" Hiragi asked after making sure the members were fine and some were already awake. "Those gangsters kidnapped a few kids and two girls so I helped them but didn't realize they'd be more of them to come. Akira found me and we both tried to fight them off but I took a hit for her by a bat. It seems that this caused her rampage. I'm a bit relieved that no one was killed at least." he explained. "Yeah, the others are also fine but this turned into quite a bloody fight. No one would expect that it would a shy girl who would do this. I can't believe she got you." said Hiragi as he watched Umemiya stroke your hair. 

"yeah this will probably last long but I'd still take a hit for her any time." he simply said looking at the bruise in his arm from earlier where you were actually able to land a kick that luckily he blocked. 

You've been unconscious for 2 days with a fever lasting 4 days. Throughout those days, rumors of that incident started to spread around. Members of the gang that you beat up described you as a monster. With your hourglass, drawing your opponents into your trap as you beat them up with their blood all over you. All they could see was red as they bled from your attacks.
