Chapter 16

"Aki!!! Aki!!!" Kotoha called out to you as you were slowly losing consciousness so she tried to shake you to keep you awake. Your breathing was getting weaker and weaker but  you were still crying in pain as you clenched your chest. "I-it h-hurts" you could only whisper. Kotoha immediately went and got some brown paper bag in hopes to help you in your breathing letting it cover you mouth and nose. Seeing you breathing in the bag she tried to look for your phone and as soon as she got it she was about to call for help when suddenly you tried to slap the phone off her hand gaining her attention. "Aki-chan, what is it? I have to call for help." she said worried and panicked and more confused why you did that. 

But since you couldn't talk you shook your head as much as you can trying to tell her not to call anyone. "Aki-chan, you need help please. I don't what to do." she cried but you simply held her hand to your chest as she felt your heart beating fast. Trying to calm your heart and trying to ignore the pain as much as you can, finally after some time it started to calm down. 

You started to take deeper and slower breathes before finally calming down. The pain was still there but you could manage. With one last deep breathe you sat up with the help of Kotoha. "Are you okay now?" she asked still worried  while you just nodded and smiled lightly. "Aki-chan, are you really okay? Are you hiding something?" she asked startling you a bit. "What do you mean? I think I just had some food allergies. I forgot I-I was allergic to seafood." you said rubbing the back of your head. 

"Allergic??!!! Why didn't you tell me??? Then why did you eat the food I made???!!!" she scolded you as you simply responded. "I-it's fine I could take it, I already took my medicine for the rashes. I always bring some with me." Bringing out your medicine for your allergies showing them to her. "But still, you may have had an allergic reaction but what earlier was different. You were crying so hard because of the pain in your chest. You looked like you could barely breathe and you stopped me from calling anyone." she said still skeptical. She looked straight in your eyes and in made you sigh in defeat. 

"T-the past few days my chest was hurting and I had trouble breathing and I thought it was nothing but these days it kept getting worse and worse so slipped out during my patrol and went to the clinic. I got checked up and I found out that I was sick. I have a heart condition and the doctor said it could lead to rheumatic heart disease. For now the doctor gave me precautions where I have to lay low for a while and not tire myself. My heart's also full of bacteria so I'm currently taking some antibiotics. It must've been triggered from my allergy reaction." you explained to her as she looked at you with wide eyes. 

"D-does he know?" she asked as you looked at her with a sad smile before shaking your head making her take a deep breathe. "Aki-" before she could even continue you stopped her. "Please don't tell him!" you told her grabbing her hands. "I-I don't want him to worry. We've just cleared up our misunderstanding, I don't wanna trouble him even more." 

"Aki-chan you know you have to tell him right? Not telling him will make him worry even more. At least he'll know what to do once you're triggered and he can help you rest and get better. Hiding it won't do you any good. I know it can be scary but you need people who can take care of you and he loves to take care of you and you know that. It'll hurt even more if he finds out about it in a different and much worse after something had already happened to you. I'll keep silent about it for now but you have to tell him okay? And keep away from fights do you understand?" she said grabbing your shoulder smiling softly. 

Smiling back you nodded before chuckling "Yes mom" you said sarcastically making you both laugh. "Thanking you for telling me Akira." she said before pulling you into a hug a you slowly relaxed to the warmth she gave off. 

The next day you woke feeling a bit heavy in your chest so you took a deep breathe before stretching. After your morning routine you went to pick out some clothes.

After drinking your hot cocoa since you couldn't drink coffee anymore you went on your way. On the way to Bofurin you saw a cat stuck on a tree branch. So you went and helped it down. Finally you had arrived but as expected you were late and as soon as you arrived there, you saw three familiar people. It was the Kaji the headphone guy and the other two who you didn't know there name was. As soon as you entered they all looked at you with sakura standing up while blushing. Without saying anything you walked in when suddenly someone called out "Isn't she also a good candidate." Confused you looked at them when someone added "Ne what about the two of them together?" "Can there be two representatives?" "We can just tell people they're twins and they come as a package." "Oh you're right." Everyone was already talking and syaing their opinions while you went close to Sakura. "Hey, what the hell is going on here?" you asked while Nirei explained "Currently we're picking our Class representative and we were about to choose Sakura until you came in. It seems that there are others who also want you as the representative." 

"The heck? I don't want to just pick him already." you said not wanting to take responsibilities. Just as Sakura was about to say something, Kaji's friend suddenly talked "Then you guys vote which one of them you want." he said as you and Sakura looked at him. "Oy, I said I didn't want it." you said glaring at him making him flinch. "I-it's your class' decision." he simply said not wanting to fight you knowing who you were and what you could do. "Tch" you turned to look at the crowd "Oy, you better not vote for me!" you yelled but seems that they weren't listening irritating you more. And so the voting was done and the winner is.....
