Nick Fury: Still no word from Stark?
Maria Hill: No, not yet. We're watching every satellite in both hemispheres, there's still nothing.[receives three beeps from her device]
Nick Fury: What is it?
Maria Hill: Multiple bogeys over Wakanda.
Nick Fury: Same energy signatures as New York?
Maria Hill: Ten times bigger.
Everyone is shocked it's that big, but realize it makes sense considering it's the infinity stones they're talking about.
Nick Fury: Tell Klein. We'll meet him at-
Maria Hill: Nick! [a car spirals out of control in front of them. They get out and Hill checks on the passengers.]
Everyone gasps. They didn't expect that.
Nick Fury: They okay?
[Behind their vehicle, a motorcycle lies in the middle of the street with a concerned citizen approaching it.]
Maria Hill: There's no one here.
Everyone's confused. Is this what happened after Thanos snapped?
[They hear helicopter rotor sounds from the direction they'd come, but it sounds wrong - a Leonardo executive helicopter, tail rotor smoking from damage already, appears and crashes nose first into a building. Screaming intensifies. The two are now witnessing civilians around them suddenly disintegrating.]
Everyone is shocked at seeing the effects that losing to Thanos brought. The avengers are determined, now. There's no way they're going to lose this time. They can't.
Nick Fury: Call Control. Code Red.
Maria Hill: Nick?
[Fury turns around to see Hill disintegrating.]
Fury drops his facade for a half second and looks distraught at seeing Hill disappear. He then quickly composes himself.
Nick Fury: Hill?
[Fury then races back to their car and gets a what appears to be an old pager with extra gear attached out of his bag on the back seat. He sends out an emergency alert, mere seconds before his hand turns into ashes)
Nick Fury: Oh, no. Motherf-
Sirius, trying to make light of the situation, says: "At least in his final moments he's thinking about his mom."
Some chuckle, but most are too shocked and sad to even react.
[Fury corrodes to dust. The pager falls to the ground, red lights blinking on the additions: the camera zooms in and we see the device display "SENDING..." then display a red-blue-and-gold star insignia - the symbol of Captain Marvel.]
"What's that?" someone asks.
"It's calling an old friend." Fury explains. Ana looks at him questioningly, and he nods. It is who she thinks it is.
[The screen shows a run down building.]
[Caption: a few days later]
Many are confused as to why they're being shown this.
Inside, there are dozens of scientists running around what seems to be a makeshift lab. The camera zooms in on two particular men.
Scientist #1: [in a highly accented voice] Sir, maybe this is not the best idea-
Scientist #2: [in an equally as accented voice] The world is in chaos, doctor.
Scientist #1: Yes, Sir, but-
Scientist #2: They will not notice one puny woman missing.
"What? Who's missing?" Sirius asks the question that's on everyone's mind.
Scientist #1: She's an Avenger!
Everyone is concerned and confused. What's going on?
[cuts to show a shot of Anastasia Ivanova lying on the floor in an old cell. She is covered in dirty, bloody bandages and is barely conscious.]
Everyone gasps and look at the screen sadly. She looks half dead. How could this happen?
Scientist #2: She is alone in the world. No one is coming to save her.
Everyone is shocked and heartbroken for the brunette spy. How did this happen?
Scientist #2: And what did Dr. Whitehall always say? "Discovery requires-"
Scientist #1: "-requires experimentation." Yes, I know.
Scientist #2: Good. Then let's start discovering.
Ana doesn't know what to think, no one does. She has a feeling she knows what will happen, but only cause Whitehall was mentioned.
Bucky brings her closer to him to try and remind himself that she's okay.
"Sadly, you won't learn too much more about this. But you'll see the effects in the next movie. Now, I have two more people to bring in, and then we'll start." Strange says.
He waves his hands and two more orange portals open.
