When the Marauders were in school they made a friend who one day disappeared, only to be pronounced dead soon after. Years later, they get a letter telling them that their friend is still alive. How will they react? Will she still accept them?

Everyone was either crying or shocked. The avengers had failed. That shouldn't be possible.
Strange waved his hands and a blonde woman, an orange cat, and a blue woman fell from the orange portal. Both women landed on their feet, and started to look around angrily. That is, until the blonde spotted Nick Fury. She shot him a questioning look but was interrupted by Strange.
As soon as the blue woman spotted the guardians, she calmed down as well.
"Hello. I'm Dr. Stephan Strange. You're here to react to the future. Please, introduce yourselves... and your pet."
The blonde looked to Fury for confirmation and, once he nodded saying this wasn't a trap, started to speak.
"Uh..hi, I guess. I'm Carol Danvers. This is Goose." she held up the cat she was holding as she said the last part.
Ana practically squealed. "No way!"
She jumped up from her seat excitedly. "Maria has told me so much about you! And oh my Chuck! I can't believe this is Goose!"
She leans in all secretive to whisper to Carol, "Do you think I could borrow him to convince Nicky to give me more time off?"
Carol smiles. "I have a feeling we're gonna be good friends." she then hands Goose over to Ana, who is ecstatic.
The blonde smirks over at Nick, who looks like he would kill her if he could. Ana smiles at him innocently as she strokes Goose's fur almost menacingly.
"I'm sorry to say, but would you two please find a seat. We still have things to react to." Strange says. Carol and Ana both nod. Ana goes back to her seat next to Bucky, while Carol goes over to sit next to her old friend. The two of them still give Nick almost evil looks.
The avengers are all kind of confused. What the heck was that about. They all give Ana questioning looks. She smiles and mouths 'I'll tell you later.' That seemed to be enough, because they all nodded and turned back to the blue woman.
"I'm Nebula." she says simply, then sits next to Gamora.
The people surrounding the new visitors quickly give them a break down of the movie they just watched. Once they were all caught up, they looked to the screen, ready for the next movie.
Bucky leaned over to his wife. "What was that 'oh my Chuck' thing that you said?"
"Oh that? Well, I have this theory that if God did exist and if he did come down to earth secretly he'd use a totally normal name. So, I named him Chuck." Ana explains.
Bucky nods, a little confused. He drops it anyways and looks towards the screen.
Strange shook his head, but if you looked closely, you would be able to see a small, amused smile on his face. He waved his hand and the screen lit up with the next movie.
