(A/N: I want to make something very dead-ass bottom of the line clear that I am not familiar with the anime, nor am I familiar with the manga itself, but I do like Japanese culture, along with the samurai and yakuza and things regarding Japan itself so that should count for something.
However, I will do my best on trying to make this book, as well as the future stories the best they can be.
Yeah, you goddamn heard me, I'm doing a series on this, but I'm only following the movies because thanks to Netflix, I've been watching Origins, Beginning, and Final. However, I just got Kyoto Inferno on DVD for my birthday a few weeks ago and now I'm waiting for The Legend Ends to come on on Netflix on July 1st, but it depends on how long it'll stay and I know it'll be limited, so we'll have to see how it goes.
I should include that if you guys are probably gonna ask me, "Freedom, are you going to do 'Beginning' to start things off?" Well, the answer is clearly "no" because it'll be hard for me to write that one scene without bursting into tears, knowing how heartbreaking it is to see Tomoe dying in Kenshin's arms, but I hope you guys understand that as it's something that won't be easy to put together for this book series that's based on the movies.
Also, I'm having Megumi as the love interest because I know for a fact that some simps of the anime and the movies themselves have been thirsting for her since Megumi loves to flirt with other guys, especially Kenshin, but in this case, I plan on having her fall for Arashi because with his faceclaim, you can just tell that he's that much of an attractive bastard to her.
One more thing is that I'll be including some of the original soundtrack from the movies because this book and the others are pretty much gonna follow along with the films' main plot, but I will be adding some songs of my own that will fit some of the scenes that will be featured. And a quick disclaimer, the songs are not my own and I don't own them, same with the movies and the characters of Rurouni Kenshin or anything, only the OC.
So, yeah, I thought you guys would like some context on what I plan on putting together because I'm just getting started with this thing. There will be a chapter soon, I just gotta put it together and see what I can come up with after watching the first movie for a bit.
